I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. Chris Webb and Thomas Phelan are committed to motivate and encourage parents to effectively raise children awhile confronting the rise in lifes added and ever changing challenges. Modeling Biblical principles and philosophies, Chris and Thomas, equip listeners with research, effective, tried and true on parenting with heart strategies. Advice in topics like appropriate punishment and disciplining practices, reward and praise suggestions, difficulties of/in over parenting, constructing routines, evaluating performance, providing effective feedback, parent/child bonding tips, realistic goal setting, general parenting fears and much more. Listeners are reminded that there are no ideal parenting plans to follow; however, with the helpful hand of God and the power of prayer every parent will find a way to shape solutions to any given situation parents may be confronted with. I would recommend this audiobook to anyone looking to learn, grow, expand, and strengthen their efforts in constructively empowering own children correctly. And preparing them for the realities in adulthood.

Incredible content (I wish I had a pdf off all the scripture references). Some of the most real, light hearted and down to earth ideas of any parenting resource. It would be so much more well received if read by the authors or another man especially if I hope for my husband to listen. Plus the many references to “my wife and I”.
