Read with a critical thinking cap on. I learned a lot. I bought the Remax. I kept listening for at least some clue about how to make this magnesium spray that the author repeatedly recommends. Nothing. And for the most part, there is a lot of repetition of dietary recs, plus claims that magnesium solves everything. Meh. Some of it was very useful, but most of it was an advertisement for this "no laxative effect" magnesium. Not easy to get through for someone who is mostly suffering from constipation.

Yes, I fell asleep on it plenty....but largely because I'm a dump truck driver working 6 days a week on hazardous, noisy job sites . And I'm old.... Thanks to this book I've been able to convey tidbits of info to co-workers (drivers, heavy equipment operators, ) who've been suffering from outright magnesium depletion--to "squandered" magnesium depletion that's often due to the noise factors inherent to the construction trades. Sirens, concrete cutter blade noise, jackhammers, yesteryear trucks that are loud. This book takes you beyond the popular phrase heard even among the holistic nutrition experts : " you'll know when you've taken enough magnesium when you get diarrhea ". Buy this audiobook to learn why that popular quote ain't always the barometer to go by.

I love this book and the information it contains should be required reading for all training to become meatball doctors so they can begin to treat the origins of their patient's illnesses rather than to treat the symptoms with dangerous drugs pushed by big pharma.
