THE BEST ADVICE FOR THE CLASSIC GOOD GIRL MINDSET

I find G.L. Lambert to be hands down the most honest, raw, no nonsense relationship expert that I have ever been blessed to come across. He may come off as a tad bit crass, but it is more than worth it. I will be implementing his advice going forward. This book, along with his "Men Don't Love Women Like You" are staples and fall right underneath the bible in stature for me. Yes. I am so serious. If you are one of those women that was raised to be and are a "good women" and did not have a male role model in your life that truly helped you understand the male psyche (especially from a relationship standpoint)....This one is for you.

Can't enjoy the book because of the Narrator

Wish Patrick Stevens narrated this one. He had a voice like melted butter which fit perfectly with the book. This narrator has an electronic robot sounding voice like those voice box things that talk for people who can't speak aloud. It's horrible. I can't enjoy the book because of the horrible voiceover...ugh!!! Wish I could get my money back and get on kindle instead. :(

Hardcore reality

Sooo helpful!!! This was a painful yet liberating book. If you want your bright eyed bushy tailed outlook to be crushed so you can finally see the harsh truth of finding love in a messed up world this is for you. If you just want to hear a bunch of fluff to keep your ego blind and delirious, just keep getting your advice from Disney movies.

Horrible

I downloaded this from all the reviews but this is one of the worst audiobooks I've listened to. And the narrator was the worst. I had bought one of the authors' previous books, "Men Don't Love...". That one I loved but I highly recommend skipping this book unless you are into "hood" talk and the word "Ho" every two seconds.

Misogynistic

I listened to several chapters of this book before I had to stop. The author’s perspective on relationships is incredibly misogynistic. I also felt like a lot of the advice he gave was common sense. I have never written a review before, but I wanted to warn others to keep their money. Don’t buy this book.

WTF...Narrator Hell

LOVE this guy's books. But this is the second narrator that falls waaaaaaaay short of the tone of the books. Trying hard not to zone out because the narration is sooooo unnatural. Gaaaah.

Meh... if you stick with it, it gets better

This book was probably written for a low brow demographic. The language was off putting and most of the advice was not applicable to my life. However, if you can get pass the robotic narration, there are a few helpful tips that can help you navigate dating in the modern world.

Sending it back

This may work if you are black and live in the inner city. To be honest I do not think even my friends living there would be ok with this advice. I could not get past the first few chapters considering the language. This is not helpful info. Sorry. I would NOT recommend. Too many better books to choose from. Not sure who is giving this 4 and 5 stars!! LOL

One of the BEST books I’ve ever read!

Very hard to listen to. I think I cried about three times. A hard book to swallow, but based on my last encounter with a man that I met, the book was spot on!! I’m thankful for the information. It has truly changed my outlook and my life.

the narrator sucks

where do I begin, if your shy or lack confidence, self esteem or common sense... listen twice

I was gonna buy the book for my sister but I had an audible credit and decided I would screen it 1st, and fingers crossed learn something

he makes a lot of good points but idk, I can't give this book to my sister.

I am not even sure I recommend it to anyone... it's kool language is graphic, fair warning. the narrator only made it worse I do my even know how to describe his voice it's just not for this book, snoop or the game maybe a boogie with the hoodie. anybody but this guy he sound like your closet cross dressing uncle ( assuming we all have one, and no shade to the LGBTQ community)

just my thoughts
