Publisher's summary

When I found an eviction notice taped on my apartment door, I had two options: find a comfortable cardboard box to call home, or move in with Tucker Jameson.

Seeing that cardboard makes me feel itchy, I chose the latter. Which shouldn't be that big of a deal since Tucker is one of my good friends. And because he's still pining after his ex-girlfriend and I'm trying to finish my nursing degree, there is nothing to worry about in the romance department, making my last semester an easy one to conquer.

Boy, was I wrong.

Rules are set, dinners are made, conversations are had, and a shirtless, swoony roommate walks around in nothing but a pair of black briefs, ruining me for every other man.

Before I know it, I turn into a panting, lust-filled woman begging for Tucker to kiss me, touch me, and show me exactly what is hiding under those briefs. But with great orgasms, comes great consequences.

Tucker might be my friend and roommate, but he's also my best friend's ex-boyfriend, making him completely off-limits. At least that's what my brain is telling me; my heart is speaking an entirely different language.

Contains mature themes.

I’ll revisit this book.

Ok read for me. I like some parts of the book other parts bothered me. I will reread this book at a later time, I think I’m a little distracted with the world in lockdown.

Adorable

This is a really sweet story. The characters struggle with letting go of past hurts but it's not the forefront of the story. It's a cute friends to lovers romance and it has some swoony moments from the Hero. A great pick me up listen.

Great story. Love Meghan Quinn.

Male narrator was awful. His narration for his own character was good but his other voices were ear piercingly terrible. Almost had to stop he bugged me so much.

horrible male actor!

Book would have been fine but the male actor was the worst I have EVER heard. (over 900 books in my library) Made the male characters sound rather like crazy, dirty old men.

Different but good

I laughed and cried so many times in this book. Loved the story line and can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Funny & Romantic

This is a great story that is well balanced between being heartfelt, emotional, funny, sexy, and romantic. I thought the narrator for Tucker was spot on and great until he had to do the voices for the best friends and side characters. That was a bit rough. Its only a small portion to the audible so its not a huge deal but it made me wince. I would recommend all of the books in this series.

Tucker & Emma

Having read so many books the plot is usually the same - boy meets girl; become a couple; get torn apart & find their way back together. The difference with this book is the wit the author portrays. The characters seem like real people with real names!

The second thing that I loved about this book was the narrator(s). Their voice inflections & tones & changing to sound like a different person was the best narration I’ve ever heard!

Pick this book up and get lost in the world if Emma & Tucker for a weekend. Pour that glass of wine, settle down in the bubble bath - or rock on the porch enjoying the weather- and listen to this one. You will have an enjoyable time!!

Laugh out loud funny

This is an endearing story with many laugh out loud lines & scenes. I had a little trouble with make narrator's various voices. As Tucker, he was very good but his other voices were not convincing and grated on my nerves a little. My parents were from Binghamton so I also enjoyed the references to the school and Whitney Point. I sure could use a spiedie now.
