I can't recommend this book enough. If you are on the fence GET IT NOW. The only negative thing I have to say is the narrator was very dry and robot-like. Made it hard to stay focused at times.

What made the experience of listening to Positive Parenting the most enjoyable?

There are some good tips and reminders to enjoy this "longest shortest time" with your toddler and give them some slack. I am also a member of the Facebook group and all of this information is there.

What didn’t you like about Callie Beaulieu’s performance?

Siri would have done a better job reading this. Callie sounds like a computer robot and I can't stand listening to her read this. HORRIBLE.

wow this book is amazing makes me look at things with a whole new perspective. definitely have applied a lot of the positive parenting techniques on my 2 year old and 4 year old. extremely effective

This is a good mix of other parenting books. It is inspirational, applicable and digestible.

I came from an abusive childhood, so parenting the right way is something I have to be re-taught or have to re-learn. This book is on point description of which is what any and every parent should read. I see how to apply to and understand my kids now.

What a beautiful perspective this book has given me, I especially loved all the practical examples of positive parenting. I feel like this is a book to read (or listen) over and over as my children grow.
I would recommend this book honestly to all parents, if we all applied even some of these tips in our parenting then the world will for sure be a better place.

I am only beginnings chapter 3 but find it very insightful.

While the narration does sound slightly robotic, I found slowing it down to 85 or 90 really helps.

I am great-full for this book, it saved me and my family I am a better person and a better parent my children are so happy and my husband is motivated and learn more and our family is on the first step towards a connected happy and healthy family

I absolutely love this book! I wish I would have read/listened to this book earlier in my journey to becoming a parent. After reading some of the reviews I decided to wait on reading it but this will be a book I reference back to many times I'm sure and will be listening to it again soon and will be getting the printed version so I have it available to flip through pages due to it being more difficult to find certain sections with an autio book.
There's a few chapters the author goes over where she's talks about dealing with childhood experiences and how you were raised. This section was extremely helpful and made me question a lot of what I was taught as a child and what I have carried into my parenting practice. Theres references to other books but there's also a ton of examples the author gives in situations where your not sure how to apply positive parenting. I cannot express how helpful this is. I felt almost stuck when I started my positive parentinf journey because I was reading books that didnt have examples! She both addresses toddlers AND older kids. if your on the fence about reading this book or listening to it. Do it. you wont regret it.
My only complaint was with the autio book the person who narrated sounded like a robot which can be annoying at times.
