So you may ask, who is Adam Connor? He is the recently divorced, Academy Award-winning actor who just moved in next door with his kid. He also happens to be an exquisite male specimen and the most infuriating sly bastard I've ever come across.
While I was being thoughtful by not breaking and entering, and was actually considering going over to offer him a shoulder to cry on (you know, because of his divorce), instead he had me thrown in jail after a small incident. Jail, people! He was supposed to grant me countless orgasms as a thank you, not a jail cell.
After that day, I was mentally plotting ways to strangle him. So what if my body did more than just shiver when he whispered dirty little things in my ear? I can't be held responsible for that.
Even if he and his son were the best things since sliced bread, I couldn't fall for him. No matter what promises he whispered on my skin, my curse wouldn't let us be. I wasn't a damsel in distress - I could save myself, thank you very much - but deep inside, I still hoped Adam Connor would be the hero of my story.

What did you love best about To Hate Adam Connor?
I love that it's a bit different than you would think it to be. The main characters have no relationship before this story starts. They start out with a very rocky introduction that eases as the boo progresses. The story is well developed and the characters are really engaging. What was one of the most memorable moments of To Hate Adam Connor?
There are a few that have you rooting for these to throughout the book. The first one is when they first meet. It's an edge of your seat moment that has repercussions you don't really see coming. The interactions between the main characters and Adam Connor's son are just so sweet, you will fall in love with him. I think the other main moment is toward the end when it comes full circle in a way you would never expect.Have you listened to any of Lidia Dornet and Sebastian York ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have listened to Sebastian York who I am a big fan of. He has a great narrator voice and covers the story incredibly well. This is my first experience with Lidia Dornet and she's amazing as well. She voices the characters in a way that it flows like a movie. The two compliment each other as well as their story. Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Yes, the very beginning where the characters first meet, a moment about halfway through there is major turning point that happens between the two characters and the last quarter of the book in multiple places.Any additional comments?
This is technically a series. You don't have to read the first book, "To Love Jason Thorn", but their characters flow into this book. To really have the full effect of their supporting rolls, it would be worth your time to read this one first.Loved this
