The Eyes Of The Dragon Is Stephen King's Foray Into The Fantasy Genre, Departing From His Typical Horror Stories. It Is Praised As A Compelling, Suspenseful Fantasy Tale With Rich Character Depth And Vivid World-building. King's Storytelling Prowess Shines Through As He Crafts A Captivating Narrative Reminiscent Of Classic Fairy Tales. While The Core Plot Revolves Around A Simplistic Good Vs. Not your usual King

Beware all ye who enter here looking for the typical Stephen King story, for this is NOT it. Eyes of the Dragon is a fantasy novel written for a younger audience, yet surprisingly it drags more than some of his lengthier books. The story isn't bad, this is SK after all, but unfortunately Bronson Pinchot leaves a lot to be desired. He uses the same horrible accent for pretty much every character except Flagg who is so low pitched you can't even hear it. Casual fans can skip this one without missing much of anything.

My favorite work by Stephen King.

I come back to it over and over. Outstanding narration. I'm whisked away to other worlds than these each time I listen.

This was Stephen King?!

I had to keep checking to make sure that this was a King story. Not only is the type of story really different but the very telling...the word choice, sentence structure, and depth of story are all foreign sounding to this King super fan.

The performance however is OUTSTANDING.
