Good Bridge

Enjoyed the story.
That said I think it was a bridge between books. It rapped up the last one nicely, and set up everything up for the next.
Some have said it is short, but I think it was just long enough. Some authors seam to make such books so long you just want them to end.

Excellent book again, but overall too short compared to other titles. Hope the author is it getting money hungry because these are great books.

Storm of Lighting is AWESOME!

My most memorable moment is when Quinton. was sentenced to the Monkey cage forever.

very exciting and captivating but violent

These could almost be enjoyed by even very young children except for the strong cruelty and violence. The a-social bullying done by the Glows is pretty bad, but feeding people to the rats is more shocking. I don't think I could have wanted my mid-teens to read this, much less the younger ones who are actually the intended audience.

Despite that, I enjoy these very much. The fight between good and evil is always a winning topic. Hatch's megalomania is either growing or just becoming more evident. In this volume we finally have people changing allegiances and rebelling, creating a much more complicated and realistic world. Hatch seems to forget that HE is a No-El, the people he plans for his Glows to conquer and dominate. Events are ramping up to a final showdown, but we still have a few volumes to go (at least one not even written yet). This volume also gets us closer to someone we've heard from but haven't known well in precious volumes. My guess as to this person's identity is more sure now, but we will still have to wait to see.

Hatch's speech to Quentin regarding his conquered population is as near to grand-standing as Mr. Evans has come so far. The sad thing is that I believe people on both political ends will think it refers to the other.

Regardless of the violence or political statements, this story captivates to the point that you can't wait to read the next one! Fred Berman is back doing the narrations, so all is well with the world.

Better then the last

Every book so far in this series has been increasingly better then the previous book, and that means a lot because the first book was AMAZING!!!

The narrator mispronounced half the cities names in Idaho and he over acted a lot.
