In this adventure, Lewrie is promoted for his quick action in the Battle of Cape St. Vincent, but before he's even had a chance to settle into his new role, a mutiny rages through the fleet, and the sudden reappearance of an old enemy has Lewrie fighting not just for his command, but for his life.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
this book answers so much if kept me wanting more if you follow the series this is a must haveWhat was one of the most memorable moments of King's Captain?
I don't want to give anything away but there is a real shocker at the end of the mutinyHave you listened to any of John Lee’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
john lee is the voice of this series and would be hard to replaceIf you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
a film could not do series any where near justiceAny additional comments?

this and the previous book are a little boring as we don't we anything but character repetitions without growth or expanse.
I am a little eye rolling, disdainful of the cheap play up to the main characters past transgressions....it's derivative and lacks the creativity of past books.
still not a bad story...hoping Dewey rekindles the spark in the next book.
oh and side note...quoting Latin and Greek texts once is nice, it shows the author is learned.....quoting them over and over and over in the same damn book...pretentious....Dewey we know ypu are smart, you don't have to prove it all the time...
slow, but decent story
