I really like the concept of the characters. I would've liked him to get to know each other a little more. There were parts of it just seemed a little bit far-fetched as far as certain reactions and whatnot to me, but overall it wasn't too bad of story. If you're looking for something quick and needed daily dose of over-the-top drama than this is for you. :-)

For any Breed addict wanting Gideon and Savannah's story the wait is over. I would not want Savannah's gift of touching something and seeing its history. In this story she sees some absolutely horrible things.

Gideon's reason for contacting Savannah is a sword that changed his life and not for the good. She has now seen what he lived through. She will soon be living through her own horrors.

Hopefully Gideon will be able to save her.

10/20/22 Now that the series is complete it is time to binge listen. I have to admit I really enjoyed listening to the story. The narrator did a amazing job.

I loved this book. It was exciting from start to finish. I liked Savannah and the gift she has. It was like having the Midas touch with a twist. The narrators Voice was just the right pitch and aided me in engaging with the characters and not the narrators Voice. The Breed Series is awesome!

the British accent for the male lead was a bit inconsistent which was distracting but otherwise the narrating was good. the writing was fine, would have been more believable if the two mains had known each other even like 3 days rather than 2 before they declared their love for each other but hey what can you do

Lara Adrian has written A Touch of MidniGht. Its a book about BreedS. They are vampires. They are Hunters of rogues. In this book Savannah can see an objects path. Gideon realizes he needs Savannah's help to catch his young brothers murderer from centuries ago.
Read this excellent book. You will not be Sorry.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Ancient organization of 'good' vampires vs. bad vampires and rogues. Young human girl attracts forbidden interest of one of the protectors. Yadayadayada. Nothing particularly unique about the story. The narration was better than most. Not a series that I will continue.
