Katy knows that the world changed the night the Luxen came. She can't believe that Daemon welcomed his race or stood by as his kind threatened to obliterate every last human and hybrid on Earth. But the lines between good and bad have blurred, and love has become an emotion that could destroy her-could destroy them all.
Daemon will do anything to save those he loves, even if it means betrayal. He and Katy must team up with an unlikely enemy if there is any chance of surviving the invasion. But when it quickly becomes impossible to tell friend from foe and the world begins to crumble around them, they may have to sacrifice everything-even what they cherish most-to ensure the survival of their friends . . . and mankind.

What did you love best about Opposition?
The plot and the characters. This is my favorite new adult paranormal series. What was one of the most memorable moments of Opposition?
There were so many in this book. But since I love angst it has to be the scene when Katy sees Daemon for the first time after he "followed" the Luxen. What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
Rob Shapiro did an amazing job. Very good. However, Justine Eyre did an awful job. It sounded like she was grunting. Then when she did a male voice...they all sounded alike. It is as if she tried so hard to make her voice sound different. Sometimes she just sounded like someone who had been smoking for 50 years. She is going on my list of bad narrators.
I have a list of other female narrators that would have done an amazing job.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
At times. Depended on which scenes were being read.My favorite NA paranormal series

And let’s talk about the sexual content—wow, it was intense! I understand that the characters are young and exploring their passions, but there were moments where I just had to skip ahead. If it’s meant to be YA, then let’s keep it within those boundaries, right?
That said, the overall storyline was intriguing! I enjoyed the unique concept of an apocalypse with aliens, and the ending had that thrilling clutch that left me satisfied. But I have to admit, this book felt much longer than necessary, making it the weakest link in the series for me.
Good book but…
