Publisher's summary

Have you ever been so angry that hitting things felt good? Or numb to all emotions? The past few years have been like that for me. Traveling between fury and indifference with no stops in between. Some people hate me for it, while others are scared of me. But none of them can hurt me, because I don't care about anything or anyone. Except Tatum. I love her so much that I hate her. I hate that I can't let her go. We used to be friends, but I found out that I couldn't trust her - or anyone else. So I hurt her. I pushed her away. But I still need her. She centers me. Engaging her, challenging her, pushing her - it's the one last part of me that feels anything anymore. But then she went and screwed everything up. She left for a year and came back a different girl. Now, when I push, she pushes back...and I'm not sure either one of us will ever be the same.

Love Jared and Tate!

This a great series! I've become invested in all the characters and anxious to see the various story lines to the end. The narrators are perfect for this story and they made me want to continue through the other books. A SEXY MUST READ!

Until You

What did you love best about Until You?

I really liked being able to get things from Jared's POV. I also liked that this wasn't a complete retelling of Bully. There were a lot of great added scenes.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Until You?

When Jared stayed with Tate's Dad.

What does Nelson Hobbs bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Hobbs brought more passion to the story I think.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I had a lot of the same reactions I had while reading Bully. There was a scene that still managed to piss me off even though I knew the outcome already.

You won't be disappointed

After being introduced to Bully, I wasn't to sure about this story, but like so many others I wanted to know the other side of the same coin. To say that Penelope didn't disappoint is an understatement. She's right about the fact that this is the other side of the Bully story and is best if read after the fact, but this story is also a stand alone, and a great one at that. I love the minor details that this author adds to her story lines to set the stage. Not only has she introduced me to some great stories and entertainment, but also a list of really great artists and songs... and really, what's not to love about that! I also am loving the narrator in this one. I've never had the pleasure of hearing anything read by Nelson, but I look forward to hunting down more stories lines so he can fill my ears with pleasure. There truly is nothing like a good story teller and neither Penelope or Nelson has disappointed!

even better than the first

Thanks to the very different ending (time frame different, not the story changing) this book definitely tops the original pov in Bully.

My heart literally ached for these characters at times. I hurt with them, grew angry with them, and also laughed out loud in parts. To me, there is no higher compliment to be paid to the author than to say, THANK YOU, you made me feel every bit of this book!

The narration was flawless as well, and added so much more emotion to the story.

just as the author says....

I lived that this is Jared's story. I was desperate to get my hands on it. The best part was that this us not a word for word retelling of Bully. It has a few key situations from Jared's point of view but it's his story entirely. And what a story...

I can't wait to see what is in store for everyone else.

His pov

I loved this book!! I read bully and when I saw it was Jarred's pov, I just had to read it. It really helped you understand him and love him much more. It also make me love Tate a lot more as well.

Teen book with adult content

What did you like best about Until You? What did you like least?

The aspect I most enjoyed about this book is it showed life in a not so "perfect" way. It brought up subject matter and issues that are very real for a lot of people. What I liked least is the entire book was about teenagers. I knew it would start from a teenage POV, but I didn't realize the entire book was about high school.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

For me personally, I would have preferred the characters to be older; even if it was just their early twenties.

What does Nelson Hobbs bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I think actually being able to hear a male voice and they way he used his voice in certain scenes added to the story.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

I don't think so. Not that it's a bad story, because it isn't, I'm just not really into teen love stories.

Not worth it

Disappointed. At the beginning it stated this wasn’t going to be a copy and paste of the first book in the series but it was exactly that. This books should have been combined with the first one and made into a dual pov. It was a struggle to finish this book as it was too predictable and just ridiculous.
