"Boring Reader ... Puts me to sleep!"
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?Story is ruined by the pace of the reader. Very slow... the pace put me to sleep several times... I had to increase the playback to 1.25 times the standard playback rate.
In general, I love the epic fantasy books.
I would suggest much better series in the "Fantasy: Epic" genre such as:
Wheel of Time: Eye of the World
Kingkiller Chronicles: The Name of the Wind
Stormlight: The Way of Kings
The Demon Cycle: The Warded Man
A Song of Ice and Fire: A Game of Thrones
