There is no bigger issue for healthy infants than sleeping through the night. In this simple, straightforward book, Suzy Giordano presents her amazingly effective "Limited-Crying Solution" that will get any baby to sleep for twelve hours at night - and three hours in the day - by the age of twelve weeks old.
Giordano is the mother of five children and one of the most sought-after baby sleep specialists in the country. The Washington Post calls her a baby sleep "guru" and "an underground legend in the Washington area for her ability to teach newborns how to achieve that parenting nirvana: sleeping through the night." Her sleep plan has been tested with singletons, twins, triplets, babies with special needs, and colicky babies - and it has never failed.
Whether you are pregnant, first-time parents, or parents who seek a different path with your second or third child, anyone can benefit from the Baby Coach's popular system of regular feeding times, twelve hours of sleep at night and three hours of sleep during the day, and the peace of mind that comes with taking the parent and child out of a sleep-deprived world.
Please note: This book has also been published under the title The Baby Sleep Solution: A Proven Program to Teach Your Baby to Sleep Twelve Hours a Night.

They have always been very healthy and my boy is very big.
Most of the negative reviews and the people that talk about malnourishment seem to have not read the book or have an issue comprehending.

I have read several books on how to get babies to sleep and they all had similar advice: feed your baby on a schedule and don’t pick them up if they’re crying unless they actually NEED something (so they don’t develop the bad habit of crying when they’re bored or just want to be held).
The part of the book that I have a problem with is the author claiming that babies must sleep in their own room. This is not supported by evidence, but based on the author’s own cultural practices. I read another book about parenting habits around the world. In that book they reviewed customs in Japan (as well as many other countries) and highlighted that Japanese babies sleep through the night sooner than others BECAUSE they sleep with their parents. That book actually provided data to back their claim, citing several studies on the subject. This book provides no data to back their claims, just anecdotes from the author’s personal experience.
I think it’s best to read several books on the subject and see what they all have in common as opposed to what’s different. Hopefully, that is where the real solution can be found. I guess I’ll find out soon enough.
It’s alright, but there are some parts that are not supported by evidence

Would you listen to Twelve Hours' Sleep by Twelve Weeks Old again? Why?
Yes, this is a practical guide to sleep training your baby. It was so valuable.Any additional comments?
Quick listen with a ton of useful information. Listen before you have your baby to learn some of the bad habits to avoid in the beginning, so when you are ready to start sleep training, you won't have to break those habits.Glad I listened to this before the baby was born

my main issue with this book is not in whether or not it works because my child isn't here yet. rather, the performer is very dry and robotic, making it a little too easy to zone out. And I really feel this material is better suited to reading. The pdf is unhelpful, containing the sorts of record tables used in every inexpensive newborn log book. what's not included, frustratingly, is a pdf that visually represents the schedule at what age. Figure 4 is the closest we get to this and it's unclear what age it's intended for.
TLDR: save your credits and get a hard copy or ebook instead.
