Danger lurks in the shadows and desire shimmers in the sultry heat as leopard shifter Drake Donovan is sent to a Louisiana bayou to investigate a murder. He's ready for anything except the insatiable hunger that rocks him when he meets Saria Boudreaux, a woman with a compelling motive-and ability-to distract him from the task at hand...

"Drake and Saria - - Awesome story!"
This book was totally worth the wait! First off, it was great to revisit Drakes' character. Drake and Saria was a wonderful couple and it was nice watching the relationship develop. The story was interesting with many twists. Christine Feehan does it again! Now, I have to wait for Dark Prey. :)
I love books, it's my great escape.
"Feehan has another winner!"
I have never been disappointed with any of the books by Christine Feehan. It just feels like she gets better and better with telling a story. This is another winner you will not be disappointed.
"Enjoyed It"
Ms. Feehan did not let me down. Drake's story was worth the wait and Saria is the perfect mate for him. The story is filled with twist and turns and just when you think you figured it out the story turns again pulling you on in while love is awakening in the swamp.
"Loved the book, not the narrator."
I have both read and listened to this book. I loved the book!! Christine rocks!!! The narration however left much to be desired. This book was based in the Louisiana Bayou, but the narrator made everyone sound as if they were just somewhere in the south. I believe, that as a narrator you should at least try for the proper dialect of the characters.
"One of My favorite Authors"
I myself like both sometimes you just want to read a book yourself and sometimes you want to lay back and listen really get lost in the story.
I like Drake he is just so male. I think he is what day dreams are made of smile.
I am not going to describe it but it took place in the swamp.
Yes I read and listen to it all in one sitting I just could not put it down.
"Decent story, awful reader"
It was ok, good enough for the daily commute.
Yes, I do enjoy her stories
Don't really know any by name, but definitely not someone who sounds like a children's story book reader who is overly melodramatic and absurdly breathy. At times it was hard to get past the reading to enjoy the book itself.

"better as you go"
