“A multilayered heroine and a sizzling-hot hero give readers plenty of emotional—and physical—action, and the relentless game of hunter and prey adds an adrenaline ride for good measure.” (Booklist)
"Finally!!!!"
I have been waiting and hoping to find this book in audio form! I've read the entire series and I really hope they do all 4 books!
There is so much to enjoy in this book. The story lines are excellent and switch between easily, blending into one. Putting the book down was impossible! Listening is just as intense, and one I can't get enough of!
Once you start this series, you'll want to finish all of the four books back to back! Bravo to Christia Dodd for an excellent series and to audible.com for bringing it to audio!
"Liked the Book but Ann is a Wimp!"
I enjoyed the book enough to download the next in the series (and liked that one enough to download the third). The narration is adequate. Not great, but the narrator will do. I liked Jasha, he has a commanding personality, like most books. But Ann? She was a wuss and thoroughly irritated me. At one point she needs to remove an arrow from Jasha's shoulder and she was in the "I can't" mode for what seemed like forever. Thank goodness Jasha didn't croak before she made up her mind to help. I do realize that she saw Jasha turn into a wolf but you would think she was intelligent enough to know that he was the same guy she had worked with and lusted after for years. I like strong female characters and Ann fell short of that mark. It felt like she whined for 3/4 of the book. But the book was still an "okay" start to the series (which continues to get better).
"Enjoyed it!"
I really enjoyed the story. Ann is not as strong as I thought she would be but she grew into her strength. Considering all she was hit with at once I suppose it would take her a bit. The premise of the story is good and it is fast moving, which I enjoy. I will definitely be downloading the rest of the series!
"LOVE IT!!!!"
This was my first book by Christina Dodd and I can't wait for the others in this series to be audible.....LOVE IT
Christine
"Great Book"
The story kept you interested. It's not just another story about a werewolf but about a family with curses, different types of animals (so they are not all competing with each other.
Loved his voice
"Really great story"
I really enjoyed the book from start to finish ....This was one of those books I found hard to put down.
"I LIKE THE NARRATOR"
I have been a Christina Dodd fan for years and this book is one of my favorites. I like how she incorporates the supernatural with the everyday in a believable (Hey - that could be me) way.
I happen to love Richard Ferrone's voice and think it's sexy.

"Won't go there again"
This was my first Christina Dodd and it will be my last. Just not to my liking. There really wasn't anything to creat a "I' can't stop listening" story and that's being generous. If you are looking for Rachel Morgan or Sookie Stackhouse, this is not it.
"Can't wait for the rest of the series"
This was an enjoyable book. Christina Dodd did a great job but the narration could have been better-he was not the right voice for the job. Please get the rest of this series on audible please!
"Irritating"
This is a great story that will make a fabulous series, however the lead female character in this recorded version made me insane. The combination of her character along with the narroration was irritating to say the least. A lot of eye rolling while I listened.
