Temptation Ridge

Robyn Carr does it again with another excellent story in the Virgin River series. If you love Robyn Carr's other VR books you will love this one. The story of Luke and Shelby is excellent. Several other side love stories and catching up on favorite characters from previous books too. I would pay 2 credits for these books. The narrator is excellent too. Don't miss these!!

I love these Virgin River books by Robyn Carr. I think the narrator is wonderful and with each one of these books I feel like I'm with family. She always includes characters from the other books and ties them together. The men love their women and cherish them as well as their children and always look out for their community. I so wish that Ms. Carr would write about a few more of Jacks service friends and maybe some of Mels friends. These books have some spicey romance but within the context of the story line not just sex for sex sake. These books are always a good use of your time.

This series is by far one of the best I've read, and this installment is no exception. I recommend starting at the beginning with Virgin River so that you can become familiar with all the characters and reading the books in chronological order. Top notch character development and plot lines. Every book in this series, including this one, is well worth the credit!

After reading Virgin River, I couldn't wait to start Shelter Mountain, and now I am totally hooked on the series. They keep getting better, and I feel like the characters are old friends and I'm growing with them. But what I am most impressed with, is Therese Plummer's performances. Her ability to alter her voice to very distinct female and male characters is amazing. But not only that...she puts so much emotion into her characters that I have found myself reaching for tissues to dab up the tears! The series is great, and so is the narrator.

Love the way the series continues, but I have also listened to Hidden Summit and Summer in Sonoma. The characters mix in with the series. Currently, listening to book 7. I do a lot of driving and this is great entertainment. I dream to retire in this type of community.

I enjoyed this book very much. Although I have not read the previous books to this series I was able to follow the characters from the previous books with ease. Loved the writing style and look forward to more books from this series.

This series started off a little slow but it gets better with each book. I love hearing about the whole town everytime. It makes me want to live in Virgin River!

The relationship struggles between Shelby and Luke as well as the the relationship with Art.

Shelby she was young but not naive and was able to strong enough to move on even when her heart wanted to stay.

I am dyslexic and so audio books are always better for me. But, the reader does so well with her characters...I can see them in my mind!

I love the General...maybe because he is more my age

So good with her character set ups....she just takes you there

An enjoyable read, on its own or as part of the series. I originally listened to the books as I came upon them and enjoyed them so much I listened to them again in order.
