When Phoebe's mom returns from Greece with a new husband and moves them to an island in the Aegean, Phoebe's plans for her senior year and track season are ancient history.
Now she must attend the uberexclusive academy, where admission depends on pedigree, namely, ancestry from Zeus, Hera, and other Greek gods. That's right, they're real, not myth, and their teen descendants are like the classical heroes - supersmart and superbeautiful with a few superpowers. And now they're on her track team!
Armed only with her Nikes and the will to win, Phoebe races to find her place among the gods.

"The mythological concept elevates the usual high-school dramas...to new heights. Funny and light, this tale is a romance of Olympian proportions." (Kirkus Reviews)
"I LOVE IT!"
(On my dad's account)
So i read some bad reviews on this but i thought i should listen to it myself for juding it..this book is for pre-teens (like me) it's not for 20-40 women half of the views come from that age group on here it's quite sad because for teens they put back such good books..I really like the idea of this book at some points it annyoys me and then it doesn't..I love the people in this book i especially like her step - father he is very witty , This is like cinderella with a twist of myth legends and love..since Stella is going after the prince charming but Phobe get's to him they have hardships and blah blah blah..But over all this book is amazing.
Young self made business man with plenty of time on the road to enjoy the world of audiobooks.

"Very Entertaining Audio"
The audio of this book was brilliant. I really enjoyed the reader, Jessica Almasy. She brought the characters to life. The story was really good but I was glad that I listened instead of read it. I would have missed out on a really great audio.
I wasn't expected so much out of this when I first came across the book. It sat on my to be read list for quite a while before stumbling on the audio version. After sampling, I downloaded immediately and never once regretted the purchase.
The school was fun. Getting to know the different descendants and seeing how Phoebe learned to deal with her new life when going to a school meant for 'gifted' individuals. All around fun book.
"Exciting, Who doesn't want to be a Demigod?"
I love audio books. My job is mostly filing and data entry. So, I spend most of my day listening to books from audible. This book is told in first person and is like sitting across the table from the main character and getting a first hand account of her life.
I listened to Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini first. That book got me intrested in the whole Demigod's kick so I started looking for books with Demigods in them and Oh My Gods popped up. I think Tera Lynn Childs should get royalties from Starcrossed because it seemed apparent to me where Josephine Angelini got her idea.
I had a lot of favorite scenes. So as not to spoil the listen I will keep them to my self.
How to survive a school full of kids who are the descendents of Greek Gods.
I know this book is targeted at the tween's. But I don't care if you need a feel good story with just enough supernatural to ground you Read Oh My Gods by Tera Lynn Childs.
