Iron Kissed: Mercy Thompson, Book 3

Wonderful series! The author and the reader are an incredible team. This series is a great mixture of fantasy, suspense, action and romance. The characters are really rich and fun. The romance between the two main characters really enhances the story, but doesn't bog the story down. I don't read romance novels, but a little romance and sex in a book like this is fun. The author develops the romance between the two characters thru the series and makes it intriguing to watch. It's fun, sexy and easy to believe. Each book is complete enough to stand alone, but it's better to read the books in order since some things are built on what occurred in a previous book, but not dependent on it. The reader is really good and is able to develop voices and stay true to them thru the series; you know exactly who is speaking all the time. I highly recommend this series and have to a lot of people!

I suprised myself with how much I enjoyed this series and especially this book. I admit I consider Patricia Briggs a guilty pleasure as I don't think 30-something men are her target audience. But she tells a compelling story with a rich use of language and a deep understanding of how her characters think. I would recommend this novel to anybody looking for a no-brain escapist novel.

I really liked the first two books and now I'm looking forward to this "book goes way over the line to disturbing" as described in another review.

Another fantastic Mercy Thompson book! When Mercy's friend Z gets arrested for murder she does everything she can to find out who the real murderer is but this time gets herself in even deeper then usual and gets hurt physically and spiritually. Mercy finally comes to a decision between Samuel and Adam and who she really wants to be with long term. I love how these books are non stop from beginning to end. I actually really like the narrator Lorelei King. I don't find her breathy like some listeners and really enjoy her as Mercy. Maybe if I had read the books first I would feel differently. This is the 3rd Mercy Thompson book so if you haven't read them yet you definitely need to start with Moon Called the 1st book.

Book 3 of the Mercy Thompson book is even better than the first 2. The love triangle is really turning up the heat, and I can't wait to know what happens next!

This chapter in the Mercy series is just as good if not better than the others. Highly recommend!

I enjoy this series - this will not disappoint if you liked the other books. Just disappointed it had to end, looking forward to the next book in the series.

Great fun and you can all most believe in magic, shape shifters and the whole other worldly characters. Nicely done and a great pace with interesting twists and turns. If you like this genre, and I do, then kick back and be entertained.Pick up the whole series and it is good to read it in sequence.

I love this series its sexy exciting entertainment. I got so addicted i listened to them all . I can't wait for the next Books . I love Mercy and Adam's relationship. This would be a wonderful movie.Lorelei Kings narration is wonderful.Patricia Briggs we need more of your wonderful books on audible.
