"a bit wordy, not original"
This might be a good listen if you are new to books on spiritual life or want to hear an upbeat re-hash of traditional Pauline spirituality (lots on "flesh woman versus...."), but I found it "chatty." Great title, though, and clearly narrated from a pastor's wife's perspective, if you like bubbly narrators. Not original, but lots about "original sin." This is clealy a very good woman, but as for her writing, I found many of her metaphors too drawn out.
I think "Velver Elvis," for example, is a better, (And still bubbly if that's what you want)presentation.2 of 3 people found this review helpful -
