"good book"
This book is very good. I loved the characters, the story was well paced. There was plenty of action and twists and turns. Its very different from other books in the series, which keeps the series fresh. I love the dynamic between Lucas, Paige and Benicio. I hated the voice of the narrator. She sounds like an old woman with a smoking habit. Not a bad habit, just a light one. I wish I hadn't bought the next book in the series until after I had heard the narrator.

"An Entertaining Story"
What made the experience of listening to Industrial Magic the most enjoyable?As the continuing story of the romance of Paige Winterborn and Lucas Cortez makes it's way into a second novel the supernatural mayhem abounds. It is a very engaging tale of magic, supernatural beings, and mystery!
What other book might you compare Industrial Magic to and why?In some ways this reminds me of The Hollows series by Kim Harrison because it features a strong female lead, good humorous undertones, and quite a bit of adventure in the supernatural world.
Which scene was your favorite?I particularly liked the scene where Paige first met Jamie Vegas.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?Nope, it was just a light enjoyable tale about murder and romance in the supernatural world.

"PAIGE & LUCAS TAKE ON THE BAD GUYS"
IN THIS BOOK PAIGE GETS TO MEET THE CORTEZ FAMILY. LUCAS' DAD COMES TO PORTLAND TO TALK THEM INTO TAKING ON A CASE THAT THE CABAL DOESN'T WANT TO SPEND THE TIME AND MONEY ON. AT FIRST SHE DOESN'T WANT TO DO IT UNTIL IT HITS TOO CLOSE TO HOME.
AS IN MY PREVIOUS REVIEWS, THIS IS A GREAT SERIES AND I RECOMMEND YOU LISTEN TO THEM IN ORDER.

"Love This Series"
We've enjoyed everything we've heard from Kelley Armstrong. Her characters are interesting and quirky, and we look forward to future releases.
Not all "brain candy" books are paced right to be engaging as audiobooks - either they move too fast and you end up feeling like the main characters are skating through their lives, or too slowly and you get distracted by your own thoughts instead of listening to them. "Some of the best reading I've yet heard."
Laural Merlington has a way of bringing the characters to life like no other narrator I have yet listened to.

"I like the way Armstrong links characters"
It seems that Kelly Armstrong knows how to create characters that can go from one story to another. I love the way she brings each character into different stories. I really like Armstrong's method of writing. Always fun.

"Narrator is the WORST!"
I like this series. If you read the books on your own, they are great. But the person they chose as narrator is HORRIBLE! It's a shame, because the sample reading wasn't working so I just went ahead and bought three of Ms. Armstrong's books. And I would have bought the entire series eventually, but after listening to the first few chapters of this book I had to stop! I'm just writing off the others as a complete waste of money!
