Phillip Quinn understands Seth's troubled past. He has the scars from his own rough and tumble childhood on the streets of Boston. He spent his days stealing and his nights doing anything to make a fast buck.
Now he's a high-powered advertising executive who favors Armani suits and rare wines. When he meets educated, cultured Sybill, he figures he's found his perfect match. And when he discovers she has a family connection to young Seth, they join forces to secure the boy's future.
The saga continues: Pay another visit to Chesapeake Bay.

"Inner Harbor"
The narrator was terrible I loved the 1st two books. They used someone different for the 3rd book Very disappointed.

"Great book!!"
What a great book!!! I listen to this book in two days. I love all of Nora Roberts book
I knew I would not be disappointed. 5 Stars from me.
I LOVE having someone read to me! I am a retired educator. When I taught young children they always wanted me to read to them. With Audible. I feel like I'm getting to be a kid again.
"Fourth in the line"
This book, the fourth in the Chesapeake Bay series, is a very nice closure to the tales. It is well written, as are all the books. Although Inner Harbor does very well as a stand alone novel, it is probably best heard after at least one or more of the other books in the series. I think you'll want to hear them all. The narrator is excellent. The story is romantic, varied, and has a very happy ending. I have listened to this several times. It's a great curl-up-and-listen treat.
"It was ok"
I didn't read the print version.
Seth and Ethan are my favorite characters. Seth has a lot to overcome and we see him coming out of his shell more in this book. Ethan was patient as ever, which is what I like in a man.
It seemed like the first part of this book was rushed. Philip and Sybill seemed to jump into a type of relationship that I didn't find realistic.
"attention capturing"
Yes to hear details. I may have missed AS IN ANY GOOD STORY
The sail boat for the youngest brother
He captured the essence of each person and situation
Building lives and a family
"Inner Harbor"
I first read the story of the Quinn's a few years ago. I wanted to hear Philip's story on audio to decide whether to buy the other books. I have never visited the Chesapeake Bay area, but the book makes you feel like you would love to live there.
All the Quinn books are great and I would relate them to many of Nora Roberts series' books. They are easy to read and pulls you in to the story. If I would compare this book to another author, I would say either Catherine Coulter or Suzanne Brockmann.
The narrator was good. He was very fluent and was confident in his speaking. It would have been better if they had added a female narrator for the ladies' voices. It would have made listening more memorable.
On a weekend day, I would like to sit back and listen. Otherwise, I would take it a chapter at a time.
"Another good one from Nora Roberts"
Yes, it takes you away to another place and gets you caught up in the story
Yes, this was done very well
yes, although I like to stretch it out while driving on a trip.
"Narrated by someone who has never read aloud"
Story is good if shallow..but it would be entertaining if the original narrator did this book too. Awful voice takes away the enjoyment, really could not listen to the entire book.
"An author with that magic touch, she does it again"
No, but a well written book being read to me by a good narrator is just a special delight for me. Nora Roberts weaves the most entertaining stories and characters.
Born of Ice, because of the strong quiet personality of the main characters.I found the whole series to be extremely entertaining.
Families are made of caring, not blood.
May Nora Roberts continue to find the inspiration to write such interesting stories, I have now read many of them and hold her ability in high regard.
"Worth the listen"
Sea Swept and Rising Tides, two other books of the series are just as good. They bring out the unique personalities of the brothers and their devotion to the couple who saved them from unspeakable abuse. I am just about to listen to the fourth book, Chesapeake Blue.
He is able to bring the character's individual personalities to life in a very believable fashion. They don't all run together.
This book, and the series, leaves you feeling comfortable that things worked out for the best for these young men who started out in the world with two strikes against them.
