I was cautious at first expecting this book to be a repackaging of his earlier works, and of course his main themes are present. However there is a timeliness and urgency in the message that set it apart from his books which already grace my shelves. The warmth and folksy genuineness of his delivery captured me long enough for the power of his message to begin to clear away the black pall that had settled over my life. He recognizes that things are bad and people are hurting, but he persists with his indefatigable message that God is good and things can and will be better. Some people may consider his message sugar coated, but I think the sweetness of his words is there to cover the strong tonic that underlies them.

Joel is an inspirational and clear speaker which makes his latest audio book a terrific companion while driving to work or walking on the beach. Osteen demonstrates through simple examples how the use of words, actions, and faith can lead you to live the life you want and deserve today.

If your economic or career position is not where you think it should be then you should listen to Joel and learn how to create a more positive outcome in your life. Maybe you think God has not been favoring you in life. Joel Osteen will help you understand that your question should not be "if"; but "how" you will receive Gods grace.

Filled with practical ways you can change your internal dialog, Joel will keep you motivated and inspired to take immediate action in your life. This is an audio book you will want to keep close for constant inspiration and a reminder that you can and will live the life you desire.

This audiobook was very uplifting and motivational. I not only listened, but felt the message the author was giving.

Calming, full of hope. for the young and old... stories and examples of lifes triumps. If you are troubled, this is a very relaxing listen....

He had me crying, smiling and laughing but more-so, believing that I CAN and I WILL.

I like Joel Osteen but he's not nearly as dynamic reading this book as he is in his sermons. And quite a bit of the book is his sermons (or vice versa)and on his free podcast. But it was comforting and inspiring in spite of it's redundancey.

This is a great way to put some positive stuff into your brain. You might not buy into everything but its nice to listen to when you are sitting in traffic or out for a walk.

Joel does it again!
He gives clear concise details on what God wants for us in our lives and what we should do to receive God's many and abundant blessings. Joel uses true life stories that captivates your attention and leaves you with a the true meaning of God's word and that it is "0k" to expect success from God!

Will definitely recommend to any one.

My soul indeed feels so refreshed after having heard more of Joel Osteen's calm and soothing voice narrate this most encouraging book. He finds such comforting words to motivate my faith and stirs up confidence in a brighter tomorrow. We are so blessed with his presence in our day and age, when all seem to be spinning their wheels to rush to get to no where... Joel reminds us to stop to contemplate the beauty all around us. I highly recommend any and all of Joel's books to a friend or foe!!!
