"[Roberts] delivers the goods with panache and wit. This time out, she skillfully blends a stirring love story with nonstop suspense, effortlessly shifting from melodrama to light comedy." (Publishers Weekly)
"This book is a sure winner for aficionados of contemporary romantic suspense." (Library Journal)
"YES YES YES"
You know they are going to end up together - why else write about it however...
Very interesting and independant characters, very interesting and insightful read.
Sandra Burr is also really great.
Again... couldn't put this book down - finished it in 2 days!
Thank you for keeping my weekends alive - especially the boring ones.
"Loved it!!"
I read a lot of Nora Roberts and I find them all good. However, once in a while, one of her books really gets to me. This is one of those. I loved the characters, the storyline and the narrator. Ahhhhh.... Next Nora Roberts book please!!
"Easy Listening"
I have enjoyed listening to this book....not the best Nora book I have ever read but good strong main characters and alot of effort went into the story setting.
"Another winner..."
Good easy listening story, has it all, little suspense, little romance. Worth reading.
Hi all fellow listeners. I am disabled and spend most my time at home or walking my beautiful Jack Russell dog Sydney. I live for my dog and fantasy world. Keeps me going having this wonderful site to get all my books from. Remember to laugh and smile every day and throw some love into the mix :)
"Hidden Riches"
Liked the book and story but not the RECORDING as there is a lot of back ground noise starting about 3/4 the way through the first part of this book. Very distracting and when i asked if there was a better quality recording of the book i got a email back from Audible full of questions to be answered. I can't be bothered going through it all so am disappointed in the support from Audible and Audio quality of the first part of this book. I have never had an Audio problem before, just wanted a better quality recording or perhaps my credit back. :(
"OUTSTANDING"
This was a great read!! I began reading and could not put the book down. I could not believe that I read all night finishing the book at daybreak.
"Typical Roberts - but enjoyed it"
This is a typical Nora Roberts book .. strong woman meets strong man .. they try to avoid their chemistry but can't, one of them has someone trying to do them in .. happy ending for all.
I absolutely enjoyed it ??? it made my commuting in and out of Boston much more pleasant it one could say commuting is a pleasant. I always enjoy Sandra Brown???s narriation.
"One Tiny Thing Bothered Me"
Absolutely adored this book! It was true Nora Roberts in every aspect. You could really get into the characters and the plot and it was quite interesting to see where things went in this book. Only one tiny thing bothered me though. A slight grammatical error that kept popping up. Every time it was mentioned that one of the characters lit a cigarette, it was said, 'lighted'. Now in some instances saying that someone lighted a cigarette might be possible, however, my brain kept insisting that it should have been 'lit' instead of lighted. Since it seemed to be past tense. But I could be wrong. Grammar is not one of my strong suits. Not sure how it is written on the page, but this kept popping up and annoying me. Otherwise, true and classic Nora Roberts. A must listen!
