Heiress Engaged to Marry Playboy!

Lexi Titan can just see the headlines. All of Titanville will be buzzing. Not that she has any other choice. Faced with exactly thirty days to come up with two million dollars, she is out of options. Marry Cruz Rodriguez or lose everything - the successful day spa she built herself, her tyrant of a father's respect. And the long-standing competition with her sisters for the family business.

Cruz has money, success, smoldering good looks - everything but the blue blood needed to become a true member of Texas society. If Lexi agrees to be his fiancée for six months, lending him her famous father's influence and connections, he'll hand her a check on the spot. And in six months they'll go their separate ways.

But neither one is prepared for their long-ago shared passion to throw a wrench into what would seem to be the perfect deal.

Light and Easy

This was my first book by the author and I will definitely listen to more. The book went by quickly and I enjoyed it very much.

"Very Good Listen"

I also became acquainted with Susan Mallery through her "Buchanan" series. (which was great) I have to agree her "Sweet" series was not that good. I truley enjoyed listening to this book. "Under Her Skin" has complex characters, mystery in the plot, and a gorgeous lover who finally realizes "love is all you need." I can't wait for book two. I thought the narrator was very good.

Texas

I found the story line way too convoluted to be in the least bit believable. But my real problem with this book was the narrator. Having a Texas accent does not mean you drop the g in all words ending in "ing." We do say "driving" not "drivin" and so on. I was ready to scream over the terrible accent. I won't be buying the sequels.

Not Bad

I've listened to quite a few of Susan Mallery's books and this one was good. I was a bit scared after reading the other reviews of the series, but took a chance and was pleasantly pleased. Not sure Susan will ever get back to the level of excitement she had in her Buchanan series, but this one was entertaining

Wonderful story! Great characters.

Susan Mallery is an excellent author with a knack for creating enchanting funny, caring characters. This series needs to be read in order; the storyline developes as the series continues deeper with each story.

Graffic sex scenes, well written. Strong family ties. Great characters. Wonderful author and narrator. Be sure to begin at the beginning, but have the other books ready, because you'll want to move onto the next book as you finish the first.

Learning to love...

I loved this - kept your attention. Kind of predictable but warm fuzzy feeling about love.

Narrator brought the story down

The book was actually a pretty great story, but I had trouble getting in to it. I found myself wishing I had purchased this as a paperback. The narrator's bad accents made the dialogue shallow and sometimes difficult to follow.
