Listening to the reader suck in air and barely finish a sentence before passing out doesn't make for a good listen.
You can almost imagine that this narrator is on the ship, haggard and eager to push the story out before he starves while lost at sea.
Like I say in title, the book itself is one hell of a story and I'll listen to it yearly for that reason.

This was an engaging story that was hard to stop and take a break.The character development was superb as was the action-driven plot......Wolf Larsen is a character that might be unforgettable.

I've read The Call of the Wild and White Fang several times. They are some of my favorite books and Frank Muller is beyond compare as a reader. For some reason I had never read The Sea Wolf until now. Boy am I glad I did. what an incredible book. I couldn't put it down. Jack London's writing is superb. Reading this book has further confirmed my belief that Jack London is one of the greatest novelists of all time.

So glad I read!
