Now it's time to go home and face her demons. But her sisters, Claire and Nicole, aren't exactly impressed with the new and improved Jesse. And then there's Matt, Gabe's father, who makes it clear that he never wants to see her again despite the lust that still smolders between them.
Jesse doesn't know if she can make up for all the mistakes of her past. But the promise of sweet nights with Matt might just give her the extra incentive she needs to make it worth the trouble....

"Plastic..."
If this was the best book out of the trilogy, the other two must have been dreadful! The storyline of this book was mediocre at best, and the characters were irritating rather than endearing. The dysfunctional family dynamics and the lack of basic communication had me wanting to pull my hair out! And the lead male character was tool that was so blinded by revenge that he wasn't even rational. I found no depth of character in anyone.
If you are looking for stories with heart, humor and substance, I recommend the "Buchanan" series. They display Susan Mallery's work at it's best.
"SWEET TROUBLE"
I love all her books. I can't get enough.SWEET TROUBLE

"Much better than expected"
The first 2 books were just okay for me. So much that I almost didn't buy this one. If you only buy one this is it. I really liked the story in this book (best of the 3 books in the series.) Skip book one and two and just listen to this one.
"Great Story, something a lot of people can relate"
The characters
I wont
When Jessie meets Matt at the starbucks
Laugh...but also curious about other books in these series
When I clean, drive or exercise I listen to romance. The steamier the better but it must have a great story as well!
"Cute Story"
This was a cute story. Nothing to remarkable or entertaining but all and all a good story. It was heartwarming the way the little boy tries to get to know his daddy. I think this was an easy going light book to listen to.
I tend to get into grooves where everything I read is historical romance, mystery, light romantic comedy, thrillers, or whatever. I used to read (in print) 2 or 3 books at the same time, switching one to the other, depending on mood. But there are medications for that now, LOL.
"Good story"
I really like the
I especially liked it when the two sisters came to understand one another, and the group hug.
The performance lacked differentiation in vocal tone for the different characters.
Susan Mallery almost always tells a good story, and her characters are interesting, even the irritating ones (I think that irritation is on purpose, of course, since it's part of the story).
"a fun quick read, I enjoyed the story"
some issues were repeated too much for me
yes, for those who like happily ever-after stories
no, but I plan to, she was terrific
not sure on this one
"Predictable"
The story line is too predictable and the main character Jesse is a drama queen.
The narrator's voice is whiny, which makes this one a hard listen.
To relax I listen to my books. It's like yoga but better, you don't have to bend your body!!
"SWEET TROUBLE"
Too bad that Jesse didn't come back sooner then 5 years. She could of seen her sisters sooner. Good story regarding Matt and Jesse it went back 5 years and then to present sometime I wasn't sure where I was. But it was good.
