Publisher's summary

Her

Snark. Jokes. Attitude. These were all things I used to disguise the hole in my heart. I'm not a happy person. I don't live life. I just exist. That is until that beautiful man rides in on his Harley Fat Boy and burns rubber on the way into my heart.

Him

My life's been no hayride either. Everyone I've ever loved in life has died or betrayed me. So, I stay back and watch. Unless you're one of my brothers, you get nothing from me. I don't participate. I ride. I eat. I sleep. I work. And I repeat. That is until Ember stomps into my life with her bad attitude. She's all piss and vinegar, and makes me want to share my bike seat for the first time.

Together

They fight like cats and dogs. Don't see eye to eye on a single thing. They rant, rave, and yell. They bring out the best in each other. They heal each other's hearts and souls. Everything is perfect. If you didn't count a gang, one of the biggest in the South, gunning for Ember. That, or the pure evilness that is Gabe's ex-girlfriend. Gabe will have to put his life on the line to save the one woman he loves, but will it be enough?

Contains mature themes.

Gabe and Ember

A back and forth, push and pull romance. Gabe and Ember embark on an emotional, heartfelt, and endearing journey. This book had the perfect amount of drama, suspense, and of course romance. I enjoyed this story. Reading this story is one thing but listening to it brings it to a whole other level. I absolutely loved it.
Mason Lloyd and Stephanie Rose did an amazing job bring this thrilling story to life.

Worth the Read

I enjoyed both books but I think the 2nd book was better than the first only because there was more action not just not just a build with anticipation. Narrators did a good job.

always keeps me coming back for more

I love Lani Lynn Vale's series have been reading her books since boomto×n first came out and and am still reading them (multiple times) to this day, now I've gotten most of them on my audible so I can listen to them when a new book comes out and it's been a little while @ince her last book I'll start all over just to keep updated. I know is sounds corny, but I like her style of writing and the books k÷eep me Interested.

Definitely NOT disappointed.

I have listened to almost every one of Lani Lynn Vale's books and LOVE them. I listen to all my books with audible, It's all about the Narrator. Mason Lloyd's voice is hot. I enjoy Stephanie Rose when she is speaking the lines but when she reads the story portion it's way to sing-song. But don't let that stop you from listening. All Lani Lynn Vale's books ROCK!!! I was definitely NOT disappointed.

Friends to lovers. 1POV. HEA. Standalone.

⚠️ Minor trigger warning for attempted rape. You could just skip the first chapter.

This is a “sexy” biker book, light on the biker aspect. The beginning was a bit slowish for me but it quickly sped up and I was hooked. I loved the banter between ember and cheyanne. It was a great story and pretty action packed.

As for narration... I feel like a jerk but I just dont like Stephanie Rose’s inflection. Two big thumbs up for Mason though!

The HEA was cute. There were some scary parts in there concerning kids but I knew my girl LLV wouldn’t make me sad and everything turns out.

It can be listened as a standalone but there is a book previous to this. That’s a good one too so check it out.

the delivery part

that really does happen when the baby to big for the hips and the other baby's can get stuck like that if they are close to the same way but most of the time they tell them to do a C-section based on the delivery of the last child because affected the title got stuck they would most likely 95% of the time to a C-section and they most doctors would have already had her in emergency surgery for C-section to the fact that the baby was stuck normally they wouldn't have waited that long too call it for a C-section no from experience my son was stuck and they tried twice and then automatically went in for emergency C-section like how they put the delivery story together cuz that does happen

Another one off my favorite shelf

Ember and Gabe..... sigh 💕
This couple has a rough start and some surprising additions , but they manage to keep the ride sweet and fun. The female narrator isnt my most favorite, but the male narrator is a tried and true one who is enjoyable to listen to.

Thank You for cultural accuracy!

As a first-generation American of Brazilian and Portuguese parents, it’s frustrating to see Spanish used with Brazilian characters in works of fiction. Not here! Thank you for using Portuguese for Gabe’s character. The narrators even did a pretty good job with their pronunciation!
