I enjoyed this book, a little less than the first in the series but it was a fun listen. Its your predictable romance but is something light to listen to. I couldn't stand the male sections of the book because of the narrator his voice annoyed me. That's the only thing that I didn't like about his book.

These two had a fun and hilarious banter. I loved the pranks they pulled on each other. This book was entertaining, well narrated and funny. I very much enjoyed it.

Good romance- but the male narration is hard to listen to. He sounds like he wants to be anywhere but reading this book. He also sounds like he is on the edge of a nap.

I struggled with Alex Kydds narration this time. Not one of his better performances. Hopefully gets better in the future.

slow burn

Not worth the time. Too much detail on unimportant stuff. Too little story development. Stupid conflicts and childish pranks.
After reading the first book, I was looking forward to the “fun” sister’s story and was planning to sacrifice a credit to get Samuel and Free’s story, too. However, after this snooze fest, I will keep my money for something worthwhile.

Narration is barely acceptable, making the story even more frustrating because of the long pauses. However, it is possible that both narrators were so bored with the story that they kept falling asleep while narrating. Or they kept getting shocked by how boring the rest of each sentence was. Otherwise I don’t get the long pauses between words, not just between sentences.
