Too hours too long

The last two hours of the book were entirely unnecessary. The story was strong enough without it.

A Sharon Sala Fan

I usually enjoy books by Sharon Sala. I forced myself to complete this one. Storyline was interesting, but the heroine was unlikeable and extremely immature.

Good story....not really a Romantic Suspense

I enjoyed the book well enough, it is well written and interesting. The only disappointment was that it was real light on the romantic suspense side. Some mystery/suspense, very, very little romance. It was ok.

The last couple of hours was absolutely unnecessary.

Poppy. The character is not strong. She immature...more immature than the fourteen year old. Yet everyone praises her for being strong!!! Things just HAPPEN to her. She really doesn't seem to do anything to deal with it.

Difficult to listen to

Storyline was ok. Had an interesting twist. Drug out too long, tho. 14 year old was portrayed like a 6 ear old. Reading was WAAAY TOO dramatic. Would never listen to anything again by this reader.

Painfully annoying main character

I hated Poppy for 98% if the book. I really was more interested in Justin and his daughter’s recovery than I was in the main characters overdrawn drama. So much about this book annoyed me, from Poppy’s hateful self to the police planning a covert operation and arrest but failing to do a background on a killer. Then there’s the end. Let me stop there. It was corny as heck. I only stayed with this book because of Justin and his daughter as he was a great character
