What will it take to bring people together?

Hurricane Fanny left no one in Blessings, Georgia unscathed - including Rowan Harper, the only surviving member of her family. Rebuilding her life now seems almost impossible.

Bowie James comes back to help repair his grandmother's house, but he doesn't intend to stay long. He and his mother were forced out of Blessings a decade ago, and he's neither forgiven nor forgotten those responsible.

But Rowan is kindhearted, beautiful, and lost, and Bowie discovers that he can entrust her with his deepest secrets. If only their love could bring hope and healing to everyone around them, maybe they'd be willing to give it a chance....

What a Blessing.

sweet and endearing. Bowie was strength and loyalty personified. Rowan had a heart that was so pure. So many great characters . Loved it.

Another favorite from the Blessings series.

OK I can't pick my favorite of this series. This was so good that my co worker commented about my laughter and enjoyment of the book. I love the darkness and light of these books- that goodness and love triumphs in the end.

WOW!!! WHAT A STORY!!!

I live in a hurricane prone area and appreciate how Sharon Sala portrays the time within the storm and the aftermath. It's so accurate. This story struck my heartstrings.

Another delightful visit to Blessings!

This series in Blessings by Sharon Sala is my current absolute favorite. These stories reflect joy coming out of tragedy as well as what makes a good and a bad choice.
I especially appreciate the themes of forgiveness and our potential to change and grow as part of living and loving well.
Amy Rubinate is an exceptionally talented narrator and she brings out deep angles and aspects of the fine writing here.
This book was just released on July 24 and I’ve already read it/listen to it all.
Now I’m just waiting to meet Janey Chapman from Blessings, as was hinted at the end of this story.

Great Read

A Rainbow Above Us (Blessings, Georgia #8) was another great read by Sharon Sala. Hurricane Fanny seems to have affected everyone in Blessings. Rowan Harper is the only surviving member of his family. She is looking to rebuild her life but now that seems almost impossible. Bowie James has come back to Blessings to repair his grandmother’s house but doesn’t want to stay long. He was chased out of Blessings a decade ago and hasn’t forgiven the people responsible. Rowan and Bowie get closer to each other the longer they are near each other. I really enjoyed reading Rowan and Bowie’s story and can’t wait to read more by Sharon Sala.

Awesome!

I have been reading Sharon Sala forever! This is my favorite series so far. In this book as well as previous books, all of the characters are well rounded and well liked.
If you love a little mystery, a dash of romance, and a hot looking man, this series is for you! These books don’t necessarily have to be read in order for you to feel the warmth and love of the characters and blessings Georgia. There are characters from previous books in the series mentioned in each book. However, it does not require you to read them in order. Try one and see if you aren’t as captivated by blessings Georgia and the wonderful characters as I am. Dee

I didn’t like it as much as the rest of the series!

I felt that the authors ideas for this story were a bit disturbing. When the matriarch (Cora) finds out her husband (Judson) of 50 years was responsible for a 20 year old crime for beating up an innocent 15 year old boy. A boy that was a product of rape (that Judson helped facilitate). She’s horrified! Cora then sets into motion a chain reaction where she kicks her husband out, divorces him swiftly and then ostracizes each of her sons for their part in the rape. This leads to two more broken homes. The destruction just continues on. There was however a sweet love story mixed in there!
