Publisher's summary

How dare he? How dare he come into my store, The Green Vegan Shop, with a t-shirt saying: I didn't claw myself to the top of the food chain to eat vegetables?

I get it. He's a chef and meat lover, but does he have to flash it in my face every time he shops here? Honestly, I try to be nice to everyone. I'm a vegan after all. We're nice people...but this guy gets under my skin. Like a tick. And he brings out the feisty redhead lurking inside me. He is easily the most infuriating, selfish, and cruel bastard in the city of Seattle.

Melody is proving to herself and the world that she has what it takes to run a successful business, based on sustainability and fair trade. Her family thinks she should be focusing on starting a family since she's already 32, and she is trying. But even with the help of an agency it seems impossible to find a decent man who matches her criteria and has what it takes to excite her. It's not that she's frigid, it's just that she's attracted to the wrong man.

Contains mature themes.

Human drama

It’s interesting to listen to how people handle difficult situations. The banter between the main characters was hilarious; along with showing the lengths people will go when faced with jealousy . The narrators did a fantastic job with characters. On to the next book in series!

Another can’t put down book!

I wish this series would never end. And after listening to book 3 I want to be a Vegan! The narration was great and the characters are all written with interesting complicated personalities. My suggestion is to read the books in order because all the characters play a part in every book. Happy Listening

Thoroughly enjoyable.

I love a good enemies to lovers romance, and this definitely hit the spot with the two combatants. The clever humour that naturally flowed out of the author’s pen had me doubling up as well. So good.

The previous novel in this series, VIOLET, shares the timeline of events in GREEN. The author cleverly crosses over events in a way that adds depth to the reading experience in these two stories. Shared dialogue in the two romances showed me alternative perspectives to the meanings of words and events. It was extremely well done and I recommend reading both stories in close proximity to get the most enjoyment out of them, including a wonderful romantic experience. I would also recommend reading VIOLET first, although that is not essential.

The respectful way the couples interact and communicate in the CLASHING COLORS SERIES is refreshing and welcome. In each story including GREEN, the tension builds and you can feel the strong love that binds each couple. When they hurt, you hurt; when they are joyous, your heart leaps along with them. This is great romance. I am devouring the books in this series at a rapid speed.

The Audible version narrators Noelle Bridges and John Masterson provide a pleasurable listening experience with their fabulous characterisations in each story.

I highly recommend GREEN (and VIOLET, and BLACK) especially in the Audible version.

Obnoxious main characters

Loved the first two books in this series. Unfortunately…hated this book. I found both main characters utterly childish and selfish. Time and time again they treat one another horribly, react childishly and with their own self interests in mind. There’s no bend, their communication is garbage. I get that there has to be tension and/or angst for the story arc, but good grief. Both of them are irredeemable for 95% of the book.
