Wedding planner Alex Haynes is left heartbroken and humiliated when his fiance leaves him at the altar. The problem is, his aunt's beloved inn isn't getting business, and with the bank threatening repossession, Hank needs to come up with a way to acquire money fast. When his high school nemesis and first love interest, Alex, shows up wanting to plan a wedding at the inn, he can't turn down the kind of money on offer. Even if it means having to deal with the uptight wedding planner who always thought he was too good for him.

This story had a little bit of everything. Second chance, enemies to lovers and small town romance. loved it all. great narration too.

A sweet story of recovery from hurt and two people. reconnecting. and finding love. Great cast of minor caractots who help keep the plot interesting and moving along..

A deeply okay read. The plot dipped in and out of being fun to read and sometimes contradicted itself. Weird wording errors and repeated words were a distraction. The narration does the book no favors and makes the less charming MC sound pretty awful at times. Meh.

Nasal narration and book need more editing.

Although a bit shaky start, the twists and turns become moderately predictable. Very expressive actor, though som of the voices became blurred.

A story of struggle and triumph for 2 very different men.

Most rsecond chance romance novels are about ex lovers getting back together, this time, it a second chance at love for someone who was never given achnace before and this time he was able toe express homself and find the love that he''s been yearning for for so long. I really enjoyed this novel and I loved the fact that I did nog drag in forever.

Alex & Hank

It is what it is. I feel like I have read this book 100 times.
It’s a very cookie-cutter romance complete with an epic breakup.
I guess I was hoping for more because I really liked Hank and thought he deserved better than Alex.
There were a few big plot holes that were over the top and had me rolling my eyes. Don’t get me started on the brother.

The narration is what kept me listening if I am honest.

This was an excellent read. From beginning to end it was captivating. The love that was revealed within the story was truly dumped out for all to see and feel and it was amazing.

Buuuut the author did that thing where someone does something unforgivable to one of the MCs then they magically, instantly, makeup and everything is all unicorns and rainbows.

I really liked the narrator though.
