Mark Victor was a soldier left broken after the Harmony War ended.

What can a broken ex-trooper really do? What are they good for if they've gone through the EMF and been tossed out the other side? If you were to ask Mark...Maybe, doing what the enemy couldn't and following his brothers and sisters.

Mark wakes up to a nightmare, to an unfamiliar place with unknown faces.

A planet under attack, an enemy he's never seen before. He just wants to escape, but when he sees others in danger, he realizes that a trooper stands for something; they stand to protect their own. No matter the cost.

this series truly has left me in awe. I'm a fan of the halo novels and I compare it to that but on steroids. It's the best I've heard so far.

It’s antimatter and they are using it for bullets. I would understand this if it was in space but not on the ground. lol

Use of antimatter

Loved the story line and the characters. Would recommend this to anyone who likes sci-fi, nanites, aliens, as keywords to your searches.

Good story and premise but just sad about Tyler and Alexis being taken out of the story

Sad but good

The story was intriguing, but it was really difficult to get through due to the fact that every character sounded the same. This narrator did a terrible job differentiating between characters and even portraying different emotions. I will not be continuing the series.

I couldn’t get through the entire book due to the narration.

Well, they have landers, hasn't anyone thought of mounting guns on them or maybe dropping bombs from out of range? Even KEW's would suffice. What an ideal job for a neutron bomb, kill all the bad guys with very little fallout. No, how about energy weapons from space? See where I'm going, unless I've missed something, some reason that makes these weapons ineffective this story is just stupid, unrealistic, too much for me to ignore.

I kept hoping.......

meh - not terrible. could use some refinement. apparently part of a series. wish it came as a publisher pack with more backstory.

Hard to follow people / locations; had to concentrate too hard and took the fun out of listening.

Had potential!
