Publisher's summary

Ice: The fighting cage made me a monster, and that's what came out when they freed me. She thinks I saved her from monsters, but she just fell into the hands of an even bigger one. She also thinks we're falling in love. She's wrong. I forgot how to do that. Besides, love's not what I want from her.

She should've run away from me when I told her to do it. Because now it's too late.

Barbie: What I didn't give freely they just took anyway. Until there wasn't much left to give. But he showed me different, so I'm giving what's left to him. I'm not letting him toss me aside. I'm staying right where I am, in his arms, and in his bed, and on the back of his bike.

We'll find the road together or get lost trying. Because Ice and me, we were made for each other.

Contains mature themes.

Pretty good story, five stars for Aiden.

This was a pretty decent biker story with a happy ending. The hero has had a lot of death and pain in his life and this has a great effect on him in later life. The heroine also has gone through some very harsh times and you should be aware of hard trigger warnings with her character. The story had a nice flow and just enough angst to keep me wanting to know the outcome. I had no trouble understanding the underlying motivations of the characters and got where they were coming from.

Aiden Snow's voice is always a pleasure to listen to, but I didn't enjoy Stephanie Rose's that much. At times it came close to grading my nerves with her tendency to pull the last syllable of her words down. It made every ending of the sentence drag and me to flinch more than once. Other than that, it's a pretty good MC book, but I will not give this one a second listen.

Ice & Barbie

Another suspenseful, intriguing and entertaining addition to this series. I couldn’t wait to get to Ice’s story. I was expecting him to fall for some sweet, whom brought out his softer side. I really didn’t care for Barbie at all. That being said, I did enjoy this story.

Yikes

I truly don’t understand why this book is so highly rated. He treats her like crap. He’s mean to her, dismissive, and worst of all he made her think he was going to rape her. She was terrified, sobbing, and thankfully he didn’t, saying he was able to get himself under control enough to stop but wow that was so not romantic. I almost DNF’d it right there.

Best of Lena Bourne Series

Lena Bourne is my favorite writer of an MC Romance series. And this book, Ice, touches my heart in so many ways and speaks so many life truths. Every single book in this series is excellent, should be read in order, and has been read by me several times. Both Narrators are extraordinary, and have the perfect tone to bring these two strong and damaged, kind and electrical characters to the shooting stars they are with a HEA. Thank you Lena! I wish you would add more stories to this series. No other author I have read holds a candle. Austingirl11

🌻A little cheesy, for sure!🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

Well, I’m glad Ice finally got his HEA but, this story was predictable and pretty flipping cheesy. This story had a bit more angst, then the other books, in this series. ICE is reluctant to accept a relationship and doesn’t treat Barbie, the Heroine, so well.

To be honest, I broke my own rule, by spending a credit on a book that is so short. If I were evaluating this book, on its own, I would return it. However, since I own the rest of the series, I’m going to keep it. My advice to anyone trying to decide whether to purchase this book is, to wait for a sale and save your credit for a longer, better written book!
