Publisher's summary

Dear Internet: I (33F) work at a local paper, and two months ago, my editor assigned me a huge project - run the upcoming, highly anticipated Bachelor Anonymous contest.

Men from all over Southern California, vying for the coveted bachelor role, submitted their personal ads to my paper. The readers voted, and Single Dad Seeks Juliet won by a landslide.

Enter Mr. Bachelor Anonymous (40M), the single-dad Romeo seeking his Juliet. Blah, blah, blah, right? Wrong.

This guy is the ultimate man in a six-foot-three, chiseled-muscle, freaking Adonis package with aquamarine eyes. He's a former Navy SEAL, successful business owner, motocross-riding, charming, supportive, funny-as-heck single dad, and the more time I spend with him, the more I want to bring this contest thing crumbling to the ground for an entirely different reason.

Real talk: I think I'm falling for him.

Me, the woman who despises love, might be falling for the completely off-limits bachelor who I'm ironically assigned to help find love, while five other women think they're the only contestants competing for his heart. So, Internet. Am I scum? Or is all fair in love and war?

Contains mature themes.

Absolutely thought this story was awesome!

Not impressed with the female narrator, but this story was heartwarming and made me smile! So it’s now one of my favorite stories! ❤️❤️❤️

Cute, but disappointing

I love Max Monroe, but I was disappointed by this book. It’s not what I’ve come to expect from their books, which is a bummer because it had so much potential. The storyline is really good and the characters are fun, but the dialogue was a struggle and the narration was terrible. I think they were trying too hard to pull off the hilarity of the OG Billionaires and the Winslow Brothers, but these characters fell short. I have adored all of their other books, so I’m hoping the next in the series is better.

Update… After listening to the rest of the series, I think my opinion of this one was primarily due to the poor narration. The main characters become adorable supporting cast in the next book and their banter is as witty as I’ve come to expect from Max Monroe.

Cute story

Loved the story and the narrators did an excellent job I just couldn't picture Alexander's voice and the sexy ex-military guy. But other than that I did enjoy it.

Fun story

The story was great! I did have to laugh as the male voice doing the female voice sounded like SpongeBob. If you can get past that & listen to it for entertainment, it is a fun story!

Love is Blind

It made me chuckle and smile through the whole book. My wish would be for all couples to have love like theirs.

Dad

This is the first Max Monroe book I’ve read and won’t be the last. They were not kidding when they said not to read it in public. Super funny awesome read

Love Max Monroe

I have read all of their books and now going back through on Audible…. But I had to really power through this one. Stephanie Rose as Holly was good. I could not with Alexander Cendese. When doing Holly’s voice during Jake’s chapters, he sounded like SpongeBob and that’s all I could picture every time I heard it.
