Publisher's summary

You cannot murder a person who never existed.

It is not impossible to rewrite history. In fact, when one computer runs the world, changing history happens faster.

Those who were heroes have been labeled villains. The alien Melagorns and Dreth, once friends, are now competitors at best.

The Regime works to instill loyalty to humanity. Loyalty to brotherhood. Loyalty to the state. Loyalty to the words preached every night.

Humanity first. Truth! Those with power are tainted. Truth! The tainted prove loyalty by working for the regime. Truth! Tainted who hide power seek to harm humanity. Truth! Hail, victory! Hail, humanity!

Except not everyone follows the truth.

John Dunn fled into a radioactive wasteland, seeking death rather than work in the Regime. What he learns changes humanity forever.

Great story but voice acting could use a little work.

It is a great story. The voice narration is good, but the accents of the main character leaves more to be desired. It sound’s nothing like an Australian. It is weird to listen too.

Amazing Book, Narration could use a tad of work.

Narrator should check how the previous person pronounced names, places, ranks, etc.. Otherwise it's quiet well done and his voices are fine. Just a shame listening to over a hundred hours of one pronunciation of something to have him doing it entirely differently.

Anderle writes good stories.

I’ve enjoyed every story this so far. You just can’t Go wrong with one of his titles. Way too many, and it’s great how he makes the first couple of titles in each series available on Plus.

Only critique is for the narrator. Idk if that’s an Aussie accent. Still enjoyed your performance tho! Thank you for helping to make this available in this format!!!

Not his best work

The story is very intriguing and it looks to be developing, so I am going to give the next book a try. My biggest complaint is that while sneaking around in life threatening situations the characters are consistently snipping at each other. Sorry but even young, dumb and stupid doesn't make these scenes work.

narrator is horrible

couldn't listen to narrator. made the MMC a total whiner, and while the author wrote in immature behavior I cannlook past that, as there are so many books I have to hope they will mature. But the narration is horrible, can't do an Australian accent for anything, and then made the MMC the biggest whiner ever.

had to stop listening and paid for the books to read.

I am sure the story will be awesome, just like the previous series doe the Federation Witch. I only made it 25 chapters in before I quit listening... I truly tried. but narration was horrible.

great continuation of the federation witch series

this story was a good continuation of the federation witch series however the narrator caused me to struggle to get through the story with his terrible pronunciation of names and acronyms caused me to cringe every time he said them as well as it is terrible version of an Australian accent

This book was a suggestion to me from Audible based off other books I’ve listened to and l can’t put it down. The story is great this is the first book I’ve listened to from Anderle and won’t be the last also you enjoyed David Stifel narration in by other books he won’t disappoint you in this book.

Continuity matters

A great story as usual. Unfortunately the narrator lets it down. He is good at reading the story but it’s obvious he hasn’t done his homework.
Names are so badly mispronounced that they ruined moment over and over again. When E.M.U is pronounced Emu and the other varieties of magic are slurred it’s really difficult to enjoy the story, especially after the brilliant narration of the former series.

Listen to a sample first....

I really didn't like the narrator's voice. His voice made it very hard to get through the book. Because I loved Witch of the Federation I wanted to hear this story so I pushed through. The story for me was definitely not as good. The characters were not as captivating. I am hoping it gets better.

mediocre at best

a story where they just seem to be looking for a savior instead of working to fix things themself.
