I really enjoyed these stories, and I wish that they were more great job to all involved.

Eve Langlais at her best

The chaos of being Satan's daughter, Muriel comes into the power she has always been slated to wield...with a twist.
Eve Langlais delivers this boxset with everything she is iconic for. Adventure, humor and red hot passion while dealing with realistic feelings that face us all.
Rebecca Estrella easily becomes the voice of Muriel while breathing life into the characters.

Nice having 5 books with one credit

This book had me on the fence; it was funny but some of the storyline was a bit much. The narrator did a great job with characters, used different voices for each character. Will continue to listen to series.

What can I say? I have depth. 🤣🤣🤣

Muriel isn’t a well developed character and has the maturity of a middle schooler. She talks to a man 3 times, fewer than 10 sentences, and thinks she is in love…come on Eve! That is instant love on a silly level.

Muriel is written as a very childish, toxically manipulative woman, who plays stupid games and at least it is recognized as having a tantrum. I can see how some 23 year olds have this kind of narrative going on in their minds and behave ridiculously to catch the eye of a man.

I don’t think describing the outfits was a good call, because they sound very specific to a 5 year period…and childish. Perhaps if more was put into her character just arriving on this plain and trying to fit in with humans and imitate human behavior, but she only has 18 year olds who sneak into the bar as role models or a neighbor who is a 12 year old girl giving her advice, thus she behaves so childishly in an attempt to fit in. There could have been more done to explain why she chooses to behave and dress as she does.

Also, getting a pink butterfly tramp stamp isn’t depth.

I am taking the whole book as a joke, but as she behaves like a tween it is really uncomfortable to have sex scenes written for the characters.

The narrator's voice...UGH 😩

I have read the series and wanted to get the audiobook. I couldn't get past Chapter 3 because of the narrator's voice. It was so stilted and robotic that I thought something was wrong with my settings. I tried for a few weeks but have up. I'd rather use my credit on something else
