Publisher's summary

Cohen: It turns out making out with my best friend in high school could be considered gay. Who knew? Apparently, everyone but me.

Now that it's been pointed out, I can't help reliving it in my head. Repeatedly. Good-bye Denial Town, hello Confusionville.

When my path leads me down the gay dating app route, I don't expect to meet anyone I like, but then I meet him. He can't be more opposite than me. He's smart, he hates hockey, and he identifies as demi - something I've never heard of. Yet I can't deny something's there.

Seth: All my life, I've felt broken. Sick of being asked if I could be gay by ex-girlfriends, friends, and even my parents, I join a gay dating app to prove a point.

I don't expect to find what's always been missing. A real connection. The problem is, I'm too scared to meet him in person. He's a hockey player, and I fear when he finds out my twin plays for the NHL, I'll be overshadowed by my overachieving brother. Again. Worse yet, what happens if we meet and that connection isn't the same?

When I tell him I'm not ready, he's disappointed but supportive. Fate, on the other hand, isn't as accepting.

Contains mature themes.

Best of the series

I love the CU Hockey Series. This one is my absolute favorite of the bunch. I love the characters Seth and Cohen. Both discovering who they are and falling for one another without meeting each other first. I can't wait for more.

Awesome Series continues w/ Story of Seth & Cohen

Awesome Series continues w/ Story of Seth & Cohen Seth has a girlfriend and Cohen is a player both on and off the ice, both straight.

After Seth's girlfriend, Emma, pretty harshly dumps him saying he's too needy and most likely gay, Seth considers his past relationships and based on his previous Google researches believes he may be demi, and to be sexually attracted to someone he needs to know them first. Seth decides to test his theory with Online Dating....

Cohen, frustrated with impersonal puck bunny hookups, seeing what his former teammate and gay friends Zach and Foster have going with a solid future and relationship together, and discovering two other teammates hooking up with each other; decides he needs to do something different and decides to try a gay hookup app Chat up....

Thank you, thank you, thank you Eden Finley and Saxon James for continuing the series with these heartwarming and always Hot and Heated stories of the "Mountain Lions" hockey players meeting their partners and coming out to their teammates, family and friends. The Narration of Seth and Cohen story by Alexander Cendese and Iggy Toma really brings it to life for listeners!

The dating app discovery

Goal Lines & First Times in audiobook is an absolute must listen to book. I read this book when it first came out, but couldn’t not get it in audio too when it finally was released. Why you might ask?
When I say Eden Finley and Saxon James are my favorite MM authors I mean it! Iggy Toma and Alexander Cendese are also my favorite MM audiobook narrators. The two men together are magical. To top it off I’m a hockey girl and this series is based out of Colchester,VT. So this series has made a special little place for itself in my heart and mind.
Cohen and Seth are a couple I guessed would become a thing before it was even made official. I could tell from the other books leading up to this one in the series that it was a no brained and am so happy I was right. This book was a all I hoped it would be and more.
Cohen might not be book smart, but he is true to himself or so he thought. When he lets it slip to his teammates that he’s not gay and he kissed his high school best friend like everyone’s obviously does at that age to learn how to kiss. He is informed that it’s not actually the case and he starts to question if maybe he really is bisexual or even something else all together. Seth is a book smart man sick of always living in his twin brother and NHL star Zacks shadow. Seth is so set against his parents thinking he’s Gay, but maybe there is more truth to their thoughts then he thought. When his girlfriend breaks up with him do to the lack of a sex life and suggest to him that she things he might really be gay if he just did some exploring he does some self exploring. To his shock he thinks he has found the answer but to find out if he’s right he will have to spend some time over a dating app getting to know men on the other end. Cohen and Seth don’t seam like two people that would make a good couple and have no clue they are talking to each other over the dating app. When they must share a hotel room together when they go to see one of Zacks games the truth finally comes out. sparks fly overnight and the ice between them melts. Cohen and Seth together discover there true sexuality and what they define themselves as isn’t important when it comes to love.
I would like to add that This book does a wonderful job talking about what being Demisexual is like. The struggles in this day and age for people like myself to find love and understand. Most people have a hard time understanding different sexuality identifiers and gender identifications. I find it’s mostly due to lack of education and seen regularly in books, shows and movies. Putting characters out there in the world for others to see will make people realize it’s real and more normal then you think

So good!

I always love these straight to queer stories. You think they are going to be super cliché but it is so emotionally heartfelt and the writers have such a good description of how it is to come out not only as a Demi sexual every day individual but also as a bisexual athlete. I definitely plan on listening through this book again when I need my heart to get all warm and fuzzy! Not to mention any book that Alexander Cendese and Iggy Toma read together is just perfection. I have very few authors that I thoroughly enjoy listening to and solely pick books just because they are narrating it but these two take the cake! If you’re thinking about downloading this book trust me it’s worth the credit !!!

Adorable Coupling

Psychologically astute and just the right way to get acquainted and develop a solid foundation for sexual exploration. The boys voices were superbly spoken by the narrators. Loved the story and hope one like it will develop in my own life. Truly the ice hockey games were realistic and easy to imagine being either a player or someone in the audience.
