I have read so many Rock Autobiographies and she by far has been through ao much pain. If you want to hear a story of a Woman who has lived a hard life and then came out on top at then, then this is book to read. You Will definitely not be disappointed.

As a long time fan of the Runaways, this was a must “listen” for me. Such an eye opening account of the band, it’s members, heart ache, heart break and triumph over it all.

I like everything. I actually cried in some parts.I think the parts that were hard to hear and went into great detail needed be said..I also like that she updated this story in 2020. it was real hit me hard in the heart kind of book.

you think you know their story because they were so famous but Cherie does such an amazing job narrating her own work that now I really feel like I've gotten to know, not just her, but all about that time.

It’s hard to put into words just how moving and inspirational this story is. The delivery was truly from the heart, coming from a person who lived it. How Cherie overcame those hardships and challenges is awesome and inspirational. I’m a musician and really feel a whole new appreciation for being an artist, and realizing the power of humility, courage and feeling inspired to help others.

I enjoyed everything about this book. Cherie’s narrative to her own story was soul touching this is the way audiobooks should be done. I was so emotionally wrapped up in the book it was listening to a best friend tell stories and I’d even occasionally talk back to her lol! Cherie if you ever read these reviews please put out another book! Listeners don’t hesitate on getting this book, you won’t be disappointed. This book is not one that I would normally read but a friend of mine is friends with the author so I gave it a shot and I have to say it was absolutely riveting. Thank you so much for sharing your life experience with us. You are an inspiration and a inspiration and a great human being.
