The Forerunner Factor are two books in one and are the best of the Forerunner Series and even better they are clean. The narrator did an excellent job and was a perfect voice for the characters. The two books in this audiobook are "Forerunner" and "Forerunner: The Second Venture." I was a fan of Andre Norton when I was young but these two books were written later so I had never read them They were a delight to listen to. Norton is the mother of space science fiction and rank with authors such as Isaac Asimov and Arthur C. Clark

These books have strong characters. It is a coming of age story of the main character Simsa who is a nobody and through her struggles becomes strong and in that strength learns control and who she is.
