But as a new danger emerges, Bree and Jase must face their pasts, before someone's obsession with Bree destroys any chance they have of a future.

So glad to have found this series. Everything about it is enjoyable. Characters, storyline, suspense, humor, and a good narrator brings it all together for an enjoyable read.

I absolutely adored this story. The hero and heroine were real people, both dealing with the effects of war. But they were also fun and I felt their chemistry. Loved the helping vets and homeless dogs themes. The story is low angst but had some drama outside the relationship.

The narrator, while not my favorite, did a good job. She needs some work on her male voice though.

The story was great. It was interesting to see how both of them suffered from PTSD. The suspense part was surprising. It took me longer than normal to discover who the culprit was. Looking forward to the other books in this series!

Nothing really gripping about this story. Seems like it was just written to glorify military lol. There was a plot, I guess, just nothing different that would make this stand out from many romance novels. An account of everyday life with just enough of a pinch of tension to give it teeth and make it distinct from being some Joe scmhoe’s diary entry about instalove
