Publisher's summary

In A Lie Too Big to Fail, longtime Kennedy researcher (of both JFK and RFK) Lisa Pease lays out, in meticulous detail, how witnesses with evidence of conspiracy were silenced by the Los Angeles Police Department; how evidence was deliberately altered and, in some instances, destroyed; and how the justice system and the media failed to present the truth of the case to the public. Pease reveals how the trial was essentially a sham, and how the prosecution did not dare to follow where the evidence led.

A Lie Too Big to Fail asserts the idea that a government can never investigate itself in a crime of this magnitude. Was the convicted Sirhan Sirhan a willing participant? Or was he a mind-controlled assassin? It has fallen to independent researchers like Pease to lay out the evidence in a clear and concise manner, allowing listeners to form their theories about this event. Pease places the history of this event in the context of the era and provides shocking overlaps between other high-profile murders and attempted murders of the time. Lisa Pease goes further than anyone else in proving who likely planned the assassination, who the assassination team members were, and why Kennedy was deemed such a threat that he had to be taken out before he became President of the United States.

Eye opening!

Eye opening! Wow some interesting facts, and maybe a little exaggeration makes for an interesting book.

Learned a lot of new information

I readily admit I was only vaguely familiar with the RFK assassination and I gleaned quite a bit of information I had never heard before. She has convinced me that a conspiracy and coverup is not only possible but likely, even more so than the JFK assassination. The corruption she exposed of LAPD at the time is quite telling, as well as their likely collusion with the CIA. The bullet count alone indicates more than one shooter, Unfortunately, I wasn't sold on the myriad of conjectures, suppositions, and leaps of faith that were expressed to get to several of the conclusions. The terms "right wing" and "ring wing extremist" were used a good bit, and she seemed disappointed that she couldn't link any dirt to Ronald Reagan when the real crook in the house at the time was Democrat LBJ, who was no fan of Bobby's and she hardly mentions him.

The performance was well done and even though there was a lot of information it kept my interest throughout.

Wow, more than expected

Outstanding. Much more than just Bobby; a sobering culmination of events that shows the common sense path to anyone willing to think for themselves. I hope Ms. Pease avoids a tragic suicide.

extremely thorough

it's a long and meticulous account that examines each piece of evidence and testimony very closely, however the book will probably solidly convince you of the presence of a conspiracy within an hour of listening. the rest will make you an expert.

Last 12 minutes messed up

Well researched. I’ve studied the CIA assassinations for 60 years and learned new things from this book. The last 12 minutes, as the author brings it all together, was haunted by drop outs and recordings from a different book by a male voice. Very disturbing.

This is a really important book

Thanks to Lisa Pease for this amazing book and the narrator Donna Pastel did a great job. The massive amount of work that went into this book is enormous, I can't even imagine. This still unfolding story is placed on top of the myriad of stories about Los Angeles. A very important lesson about our government is inside this book. I bought the hard cover to read, which I'm doing now. Soo much detail in this book. A++++

Eye opening!

The facts clearly support a conspiracy! Incredibly eye opening! We, the people need to question our government and the media if we wish to remain a truly free country!
