The Diva Spices It Up is another entertaining and fun addition to this series. The story is interesting and well written with a fast pace and engaging characters. I love this series and always look forward to the next book.

This was probably one of my favorite Diva mysteries since I first started listening to them. It was almost the end before I figured it all out. I had picked up pieces as I was going along, but this one was just marvelous! Besides the yummy food the mystery and conclusion were so fun. Another hit for Krista Davis.

Sophie is offered a ghost writing job, which she has never thought of doing before. I love the idea of a ghost writer and how that worked. Thank you Ms. Davis for explaining. Sophie and her Old Town friends are in the middle of a murder mystery, I truly wish they would make this into a show because in my mind it already is one. When Sophie and Nina find the previous ghost writer dead, they decide to dive in and find out who did the murder. Especially when Mars is a suspect. I love the neighbors that get involved with this one, especially the spy aspect. I cannot wait for the next one.

I love these books and I love the narrator. This book had lots of intrigue and twists, so I did not guess who the murder was.

I was glad to see Natasha had only a small role.

I want Sophie and Mars to get back together and remarry. I think they really love each other. They’d make a good team.
