And May The Force be With Us All… A conclusion to the Star Wars EU, now Legends. I wish this could have at least been a trilogy. Marc Thompson does an excellent performance. This is the last of the Legends books. I wish we could have more. This capped off the Fate of the Jedi Series.

Well told

Story well told with all the sound effects. Very impressed. Each unique character had special voice and sound effect with it. Pleased with the continued story.

Fitting conclusion to old EU

A good off for the original star wars EU. If you just want to wrap up this old canon after the lackluster Fate of the Jedi, this is a good send off reuniting Luke, Leia, and Han for one last adventure. Makes me nostalgic for SW before JJ Abrams.

Fairly strong finish for the Expanded Universe

What did you love best about Crucible: Star Wars?

A good standalone novel that brings in elements from across the Star Wars Expanded Universe - reading the other books (and watching related video) will enrich your experience of the story while tie-ins you don't immediately recognize will still stand on their own. Vital elements for a conclusive story.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Not so much the narrator as the overall performance could have cut back on the sound effects. While they sometimes do their intended task of enriching the experience, they ended up doing more distracting than enriching, for me.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The ultimate conclusion to the adventures Han, Luke, and Leia started in A New Hope!

The amount of time and focus spent on the visceral experience of injury seemed to have a disconnect with the cinematic experience presented by most Star Wars stories.
