When a huge alien spacecraft crashes on the island of Cuba, the world scrambles to investigate. Secretive organizations have waited for generations for this opportunity, and they do not hesitate to send in recovery teams. Cooperation between nations breaks down as every government wants the newly discovered technology for themselves. Naturally, the Cubans have beaten everyone else, and the island is beginning to change. Aircraft flying reconnaissance are swatted from the skies. Commandos can’t make a landing on the beaches without being annihilated. Malena Marin is a new XCU agent with special abilities. She’s sent with a team of veterans on a mission to secure the landing site or die trying. Unfortunately, the enemy knows they’re coming. As the conflict grows and turns increasingly violent, the aliens themselves enter the game. And they have plans of their own....

Worth the credit, looking 4 more. Few oh sure moments. Good sense of realism. Romance, but not teenage immature.

Solid story

Very entertaining and good story and awesome characters, all of it remind me of when Swarm just started.. Now we get to see it all again!

Malena, I like the way to gets things done.

Which scene was your favorite?

The landing and her figuring out the dome and what happened..

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Normally I have liked or loved all of Mr Larson's stories. I just couldnt get into this one. The story just didnt have the grip on my attention that the Starforce series or the Haven series do.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Oh well

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Nothing really.

Could you see Element-X being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

No

Any additional comments?

HEY AUDIBLE WHERE IS THE NEW STARFORCE AUDIOBOOK ITS BEEN OUT FOR 4 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not my cup of tea

The narrator made this book a lot better than it would have been without her. A good narrator can make or break a book no matter the story. This one made a one or two star book into a three and she was a five.

Great Narration

Between the aliens and humans in this story, the aliens were far more believable than the human characters. The silly things the characters (ALL of them) said and did in any given scene was far too distracting to allow me to enjoy the story.

Silly.
