Conclusion to the New York Times bestselling Matched trilogy!

Cassia’s journey began with an error, a momentary glitch in the otherwise perfect façade of the Society. After crossing canyons to break free, she waits, silk and paper smuggled against her skin, ready for the final chapter.

The wait is over.

One young woman has raged against those who threaten to keep away what matters most—family, love, choice. Her quiet revolution is about to explode into full-scale rebellion. With exquisite prose, the emotionally gripping conclusion to the international-bestselling Matched trilogy returns Cassia, Ky, and Xander to the Society to save the one thing they have been denied for so long, the power to choose.

Featured Article: Excellent Dystopian Listens Like The Hunger Games

The popularity of Suzanne Collins’s The Hunger Games trilogy and its film adaptations has paved the way for so many great dystopian books and series in YA, imagining harrowing worlds where teens must fight for survival and define what life means to them. The enduring popularity of the series has proven that dystopian stories and the sometimes-dark futures they imagine are endlessly fascinating to our imaginations.

I am a huge fan of the series. There are a few things I did not enjoy, like some of the repetitive parts ( The Poems). But besides that I felt completely involved with all the characters.

I loved the Series

I love the chapter with Ky breathing. Everyone is struggling to find out what to do and he is just trying to remember to breathe.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Sure...I have to disagree with some of the other negative reviews I read, especially the ones advising not to "waste a credit" on this book. This is after all, a series written for a younger audience, so of course the pace is different. I thought the narrators did a nice job, and I disagree with those that felt Ky "whined"....he was deliriously ill after all....

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I listen 24/7, over and over, but yes, this one held my interest.

Dawson's Creek revisited, but still good

Possible SPOILER:

It was a good book, but I did not like the ending and how it left you not knowing what the vote was. I was very disappointed by that. Other than that I liked it.

Good, but...

The music took away from the story. I hated the added music. As for a YA novel though, It was good and made you think a lot. Makes you thankful for your freedoms in our society. I will definitely read this again and hopefully it will become a move too :) but the music was the worst.

Good and bad
