"Deep, Wise, Healing!"
This is my favorite of the "Myths and Stories of the Wise Woman Archetype" series. Clarissa Pinkola Estes disassembles the negative cultural messages we receive about our bodies and provides a series of healing stories, images, and ideas which hold the body as sacred, unique, infinitely precious and idiosyncratic. She threads vivid and unique multicultural metaphors and tales throughout the sessions.
Her voice, pacing, and accents enrich the experience. Hers is a vibrant presence. She brings stories and ideas from many cultures and her language and accents vary by culture.
This is book I will listen to again and again. I could not fully integrate the wealth of knowledge, wisdom and healing in one "reading." Don't miss this unique experience.8 of 8 people found this review helpful
