Captured by a giant!

The BFG is no ordinary bone-crunching giant. He is far too nice and jumbly. It's lucky for Sophie that he is. Had she been carried off in the middle of the night by the Bloodbottler, or any of the other giants - rather than the BFG - she would have soon become breakfast. When Sophie hears that the giants are flush-bunking off to England to swollomp a few nice little chiddlers, she decides she must stop them once and for all. And the BFG is going to help her!

I just loved this book so much and there is nothing that I would change. I recommended it to my mom because I thought she would like it and I’ve been reading it to her and she’s loving it so much.

Brilliant book!

We listened to this with our two little boys and I think we enjoyed it more than our kids! It is a very delightful and thoroughly enjoyable story.

The story of course is great, but the narrator . . . . wow! So much talent. My boys, and I, listen to this quite often.

Lots of humor and very creative.

What does David Walliams bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He brings to life all the characters in a way few can. So many different voices. Absolutely loved his narration.

A VERY fun listen.

The narrator, David Walliams, has mastered the art of reading books, including all the words of a written narrative, like “he said” and “she said”, at a rapid, low clip, then drawing out the the narrative material itself in detailed, charming language.

Unlike most audio books, there are sound effects that enhance the story. These are are deftly layered into and under the narrative, never over the narrative.

The Queen is the icing on the crumpet.

I love this audiobook I think that is totally worth a credit and you should definitely get it because it is awesome and super cool and fun
