good 2nd book

this was a good 2nd book in the series and a good continuation of the story line

emotionally gripping. the writer does an amazing job, you can picture every minute of the story

Engaging, exciting, and very realistic

Would you listen to Sky on Fire again? Why?

Yes I would listen to Sky on Fire again! The performance was excellent and the story kept me continually interested. For a short period of time I had to take a break from the book but I could not stop thinking about the story and how excited I was to continue listening.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the very end because I was on the edge of my seat and my heart was racing even though I knew it was just a story but the performance and storyline were so great that I deeply cared about the end.

Which character – as performed by Todd Haberkorn – was your favorite?

I think the children such as Baptiste and Max were my favorite characters, I really felt like the children were real which made the story feel more realistic and memorable.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, the scene when Dean, Astrid, and the kids are trying to escape before the greenway is destroyed by a bomb moved me because I felt like I was truly there and was scared to find out what would happen.

Any additional comments?

Driving while listening to the book made the story seem even more real because i could imagine the roads in the story and cars on the side of the road in the post-apocalyptic world. Also the best way to read the book is to imagine yourself as each character and really imagine the fear and excitement they feel.

Excellent, emotional I stallment in an fantastic series

I have loved both book 1 and book 2 of Monument 14. I cannot wait to read/listen to book 3! While this isn't a light read by any measurement, there are moments of levity and lights of hope. I highly recommended this series for fans of Apocalyptic fiction.
